Lord have mercy, it's LOUD
This is a great handheld horn. I got it as an extra security measure. Easy to use, nice no batteries or air cans. This thing is loud.

doesn’t require an air bottle, just use it like a bicycle pump and it is very loud
I need to have a “signaling device on my pontoon boat per Coast Guard requirement. I want something loud in case I needed help. I didn’t want one of those air cans with a horn on it. Too many folks that complain that you use it once in the air leaks out overtime. Then I came across this portable horn that required you to just push it like an air pump. Thought I would try it out. Wow, this thing is loud. Some of my fellow boaters decided they liked it and were ordering one as well. It is really loud. No regrets here. I ordered a second one for a friend of mine.

An Excellent Horn
A well made, very solid feeling horn. The pump moves smoothly and produces a very loud blast of sound. It can easily be used with one hand. I've used the air horns with compressed air in a can to scare away grizzly bears while camping. I was always concerned about running out of air or having the can develop a leak. This horn solves that problem PLUS I can carry on a commercial jet on remote trips in Alaska.
