HiLetgo CP2102 USB 2.0 to TTL 5PIN Serial Converter Module With cable for Linux, macOS, Win7, Win8, Win10

This is a great bit of kit. I use these to replace the Prolific USB programing cables supplied with most Chinese handheld radios. There are so many fake Prolific cables out there it's not worth the hassle. So these 2102's were substituted and they work fine, every time.

Worked straight out the packet, Windows 10 installed drivers as soon as I plugged it in, set up my terminal software and I was good to go. Well worth it !!!

Used this to flash tasmota to sonoff. Worked perfectly.

This unit worked perfectly once I found a driver for the Windows 7 64bit computer I used it with. my reason for giving less than optimum rating is that the ebay page relating to the product did not make it clear that a suitable driver would be needed.

Used this on a linux box and got great results with it so no complaints at all.

I recently acquired a semi-broken router that has a UART connector on it, and I needed to talk to it. This device makes it easy to talk to anything that has TTL or UART. It's super easy as it's plug and play! Just plug the cables into the right pins on the adapter, then plug it into your computer. Il me fallait un CP2102 pour faire de l'automatisation pilotée par un ordinateur avec un Arduino.Celui-ci fonctionne parfaitement, on aurait aimé un petit boitier plastique pour protéger le tout une fois relié aux fils Dupont, mais il fonctionne toujours aussi bien actuellement.Un bon achat.

Funciona perfectamente, y ademas tiene 5V y 3V (creo, puede que sean 3.3V, no lo he comprobado)Se conecta perfectamente dando un serial de "0001" en la interfaz USB con el nombre de "CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller".

Ho installato un firmware open-source su un vecchio modem-router brandizzato, sbloccando diverse funzioni e dando nuova vita ad un oggetto ormai inutilizzato e che ora è in salone e funziona perfettamente come access point!Tutto questo grazie a questo oggettino dal prezzo irrisorio.
