This is by far the biggest investment I made on my FJ cruiser. I have over 200,000 mi and I was using the original shocks and struts. I decided to replace them because it's time and I drive a lot. Off-roading. I didn't want to raise the car because I don't believe in it. I believe that the engineers, the design, the car knew what they're doing the best and I'm not here to change any specs of the car. However, he did leave the front by about an inch which looks great. They ride is absolutely amazing. I did add new springs in the back also but I don't know if it was necessary. All in all, I would like to tell you that it's a worth investment. The FJ rides like a champ. Now I'm very happy with the way it handles potholes especially and I'm very happy the way it handles off-roading I really love those shocks and struts. I did have it installed and a professional garage because I figure it's going to be an intense thing to replace the front struts and do alignment and all that. All in all I love it.

These were great. no complaints. Instructions a bit small so some folks may need to take a photo of them with their phone to read the fine print.

Old Man Emu rear shocks were well beyond needing replaced on my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser and I opted to go back to Bilstein and so glad I did. Much more comfortable ride. Work great with my lift. I just installed these on a 2008 Toyota 4Runner with 176000 miles. I wish I did it sooooo much sooner!! I also did sway bar links. The vehicle feels almost like new again. Very stiff and comfortable. Incredible difference. It even sits a little higher and has an aggressive look. I am so glad I did this, but as I said, I wish it was much sooner. I'm sure those were the OEM shocks on there and although the ride was not bad, I had no idea how much room for improvement there actually was. Very happy!!!
