Great subwoofer box with deep bass!
This subwoofer box exceeded my expectations. It feels well built, fits perfectly, and delivers deep, powerful bass without distortion. Installation was simple, and it has made a huge difference in my car’s sound system. Excellent quality for the price, and I would definitely buy it again.

Fantastic little Subs.
Very nice little dual 8 setup, they sound fantastic, and can play low notes still quite well even compared to 12”s. Not as loud ofcourse but frequency response wise they do a fantastic job especially connected to a good quality Amp that also has a good playable frequency response. Good quality Woofers not a cheap low quality setup by any means. For setups 1,000 watts or less these are fantastic. Beyond that I don’t see these as being as efficient with sound output per watt. But that’s fine cause Rms wise these are more meant for 800-1,000 watts. Quality of bass is great. Responsive, tight bass, so long as you have a Good quality Amp driving them. Never cheap out on amps.

Worth the money
To be only 8" subs the bass really bangs! Quality build.

From a former 2 12 guy to a 2 8 guy
Forgot to take a pic of the subs so here's my wiring. Paired with a CT sounds CT1000.1D. Guys. These blew me out of the water. I just wanted a little bass because Ford's base audio systems are trash. I had subs like 10 years ago in high school and about 2 years after. Went through pioneer and ran 2 12" kicker comp R's for the longest time in an 01 mustang GT. I've never even considered anything smaller than a 12 but I didn't want subs taking up my entire trunk or back seat in my 18 Mustang GT. I figured for the price point I would at least give these a shot. They absolutely BANG. I was mindblown and these aren't even the premium 8's they sell. Responsiveness is good, and after tuning it they basically make my rear view mirror unusable. They don't get quite as low as the old 12's, but I think a part of that is the lc2i converter I used. It stops at 33hz I think but if you get the lc2i pro it goes down to 10hz. I may change that out in the future but for now I could not be happier. Perfect size for a 2015-2025 mustang trunk. I can still lift the mat to get my spare tire (box comes up with it but it's short enough to give clearance) and still have a usable trunk. They were packaged very well and the carpeting and embroidery were immaculate. This is an insane value. I'm into this setup for under $600 including wire kit, converter, subs, box, and amp. You literally cannot go wrong with this. Protip: please watch NextLevelCarAudio YouTube video on how to adjust the amp settings and Boost & Shutter YouTube video on setting the converter. You're going to me blown away once you tune it right.

Good value - great bass!
Surprised by the nice tight bass. Overall a great subwoofer for the money. I did this combined with the CT Sounds 700 amp in my WRX with factory Harmon Kardon system. This is replacing my stock subwoofer which has zero ability to create any hard hits. Techno tracks with solid hitting bass hit you nice and hard. More than you would expect from a single 10 inch sub. If you do not mind brand X products - this sub offers outstanding value for the money. The bass now hits hard enough that coins on the roof of the car will rattle. Additionally - it does not sound. like loose flubbery bass. Tighter than you would expect from a budget ported box. Construction is very nice. The subwoofer looks like it has a lot of extrusion capability. Cone is nice and stiff allegedly made of carbon fiber.

Boomy, but great with rap, edm, etc... Not so great with Rock/Metal. Is the box too large?
Sounds absolutely great with bass heavy "thumpy" music like EDM (Tiesto, etc...), Rap (Only the Family - Same Hood), Jamaican Bass heavy music (Jahvillani). The lows are there, are deep, and hit you in the back nicely, both heard and felt. However, with metal, metalcore, rock, etc...., (Staind, Static-X, Korn, We Came As Romans, etc...) The bass is lacking. I have to double the sub level in order to get any kind of punch in this type of music, and it's not a very musical punch. Very thumpy and sloppy. I previously had an Infinity (800W) 8" subwoofer in a very nice GP Audio box. It had punch for days, and sounded great with rock, and very good with bass heavy music, but it just didn't give me enough output before unloading (over-excursion). This one, on the other hand goes deeper and has much more output with only bass heavy music, even at lower levels with the sub only moving 1/4" or so. I am concerned about the volume of the box, though. It is listed as a 'Total Volume' of 2.13 cu. ft. The box barely fit into the trunk of my 2016 Mustang. I had to remove the rear trunk trim where the latch is located, in order to make enough room to fit it in the trunk. It's a relatively large box for a single 12". The specs for the separate sub on ct sounds site suggest 1 cu. ft. for an "SQ Response Curve" and 1.75 cu. ft for a "Boomer Response Curve (SPL)". Unless I'm interpreting the specs wrong, This box is much larger than even the manufacturer suggested largest volume for an SPL box. This may be why it's so boomy with deep bass, but has no punch for rock. I would have preferred a box volume somewhere in the middle. Unfortunately I'd have to rank "sound quality" at 3 stars, as I tend to listed to a lot of rock. The design of the subwoofer with its high roll narrow surround gives it the look of a higher end sub, but with more xmax than it actually has (only 11mm). The subwoofer and box appear to be extremely high quality, with modern advanced manufacturing techniques throughout. Although I could smell the sweet smell of carpet glue for several days after opening the box. It eventually aired itself out after a few hot days in the car. Maybe it was a recently manufactured box. Time will tell whether I keep this box. I will have to come up with a compromise to improve the sound for rock. Maybe I will invest in an epicenter or other digital bass processor.

Unbelievable punch
There are no words to describe the bone shattering punch of these subwoofers when paired up with the CT-1000.1d mono block amp. My only problem is figuring out how to stabilize my rearview mirror as it almost instantly points down as soon as the bass drops. I highly recommend.

Proper tuning is most important.
Sounds amazing straight out of the box. Paired it with the CT1500.1d mon block amp. Set the gain and frequency and your good to go. I put this in a chevy suburban and it absolutely shakes the whole thing.

Super
IN-CRE-DI-BLE. I love it, it's perfect even for my shitbox and it was soooo simple to install, at least if you know a little about electricity, but short story, it's really good. I thought it would sound terrible at first since it's not like a Pioneer but look, this sounds really great regardless of the song.

10/10
10/10 these subs hit amazing! Make sure you set your amp properly People. I’ve got my gain at 28v out of the speaker terminals and my subsonic set at 39hz. My test tone was 40hz at -5db.

Not really what it claims
Both subs blew in a short time only using 800rms amp, these claim like they can handle way more but they failed and I lost all the money I paid without replacement because it’s very heavy and can’t send back with out paying couple hundred for shipping back to seller :(
