I used this for deck lines on a greenland kayak. Its a little darker than the usual latigo lace I use, and does seem very slightly more stretchy, as the manufacturer noted. So far it has held up very well to saltwater. It holds paddles securely when toggled.*UPDATE* One year later, weekly immersions in saltwater, still holding up well.*UPDATE* Four years later, the leather is hard and cracking, one finally broke. So about a four year lifespan in mixed fresh and saltwater.

Nice leather lace
Nice slightly distressed medium brown leather, 6mm wide strip, perfect for my needs. Pretty soft, not a stiff leather. Good for a bracelet or slightly thicker boho necklace. Arrived quickly with Prime would purchase again. Saw same thing at Tandy website for a few dollars more plus twelve bucks shipping!
