They work!
I have done a number of rides since I fitted these liner tapes. I have been over the same routes as when I received a number of punctures from Hawthorn spikes from recently flailed hedges and no punctures. When I cleaned my bike down I checked my front tyre and there were two broken of thorns in the tyre that had no got through to the inner tube.

Effective when they're finally in place
Sturdy puncture protection at bargain price.Easy enough to trim to size, although I tool advice of others to avoid having a sharp cut edge.Bit awkward to fit - keeps flapping around until you get the tube in place too, then still needs a little check and adjust to make sure it's stayed where you want it.I held it in place with small pieces of insulating tape until tube was in, and also sealed the join with a section of duct tape.Doing a good job so far on my hardtail MTB with favourite tyres that are getting a bit low on tread! Restored offroad confidence. How could they be better? A self-adhesive central strip on the outside edge. Think road bike bar tape style. I may do this next time with double sided tape.

Stopped me from tread punctures
Great product… not easy to fit the first one but 2 bikes and 4 wheels later easy peasy. It stopped flints and thorns for me so winner winner

So far so good
Easy to fit. Does feel a little ‘sticky’ at times - I guess that’s some friction between inner tube and liner. However, I’ve travelled some very gritting roads since fitting and no punctures. If they do indeed prove to prevent punctures I’d be happy with the ‘sticky’ feeling occasionally.

Good at 1200 miles Bad at 2700 miles
Less resistant to being penetrated on bench vs older slime tyre liner but will hopefully perform better in tyre. Fitting not too bad, reasonably pliable and very wide for large tyres.Covered about 1200 miles now pulled a few shards of glass out of the tyres no problems.Edit.Covered 2700 miles and punctured by small thorn on the crown of the tyre. On inspection the witness marks showed the liner had moved snaking from side to side exposing the tyre in several places (never happened with the old slime tape). I run Schwalbe crazy bobs 2.35 at 45 psi so cannot see a problem there.Edit.Covered 3100 miles small shard or glass pieced the the tape causing puncture this tape is starting to look like a piece of expensive random plastic.

a long period of time is required to be sure that this product is working
One has to install the puncture tape very precisely over the tube for it to function properly, patience is required. Before using the tape I had many punctures over the last three months but to be expected during this past winter period with so much debris about. the tape has been installed the on the rear tyre over a month and got my first puncture 3 days ago but to be fair the puncture was right along side the tape , my assessment is that it probably works but only if the piercing is directly above the tape a period of 9 to 12 months would be a fair time to make a judgement.

Useful addition to your tyres.
I fitted these strips about six weeks ago and have covered just over 100 miles since then on my mountain bike,29x2.6 and 27.5x2.6 tyres, after my last ride I found a large thorn embedded in the tyre, this would have definitely resulted in a puncture without the strip. They are a bit fiddly to install as you have to constantly check it is still in the correct position before putting the tyre back on the rim. I gaffer taped the ends together, having left a 1cm gap between the curved strip ends to avoid the possible tube damage others have reported, see the online reviews.
