This is a nice, sturdy grabber. However, it was not as strong as I would’ve liked it to be. The part that actually grabs onto an item worked flawlessly; however the pole/arm part of it wouldn’t handle the weight of an item I was trying to pick up, and it snapped. I don’t believe that was due to any flaws in the grabber, but rather user error. There isn’t any claims that this item can hold any amount of weight- I just had to test it out to see just how much it COULD withstand. And, I would say that this would be a very good grabber as long as you don’t try and lift anything over about five pounds with it. The grabber part also is magnetic, so that is helpful if there is any metal parts on whatever you’re grabbing. I think that the price is maybe just a tad bit too high considering the quality. Although, when compared to others in the same price range, I would definitely go with this one.

I bought this to pick pears with so I can just choose one at a time as they ripen without using the long handled fruit picker each time. I can reach half way up the tree and it holds the heavy fruit very well. I can also use it to replace light bulbs in my 9 foot ceiling can lights.

I bought this for my mom and it is easy to unfold and fold. It works perfectly and comes with a bag to carry it in. She has some that don’t fold and are bulky. This is perfect when she is going out and may need something high.

I got this one to replace one of another brand that broke after a week. Same price but much better design. I go out once a week to pick up litter around where I live, and this tool makes it an easy process.The size is also great. I'm short, and I needed a length that would allow me to easily grab something and put it in the trash bag I carry. Given the length of my arms, a longer tool would have made it clumsy and difficult to get the item into the bag.

Having a spinal issue, i have grabbers all over the place, as i can function normally except bending over, I like these grabbers design as it picks up its items in a straight left-right motion, not an angle, it seems to pick up stuff easier then the traditional version. Having a magnet on both side is even better.Add a telecoping segment to change the length would make it 5-star product.

Pleased with the overall product. The dual fold arm ( three piece arm ) can be a bit cumbersome when opening and closing. This has a larger, longer and wider grabber than others I have had. These grabbers all seem to use same / very similar parts. I do like this more than previous others I have used. The provided carry bag actually gets used often. Though not designed or advertised ... I like to use this partly open for closer items = the handle grip can be used frontal as designed and backwards with the arm not fully open.

This is a very sturdy product! I can pick up fairly heavy objects, the grip is very good, it’s nice and long. I’m very happy with this purchase.

It’s a good companion, however I find my basic model is lighter and straighter. I use this one, but being older I mostly prefer the old one I wanted to upgrade.
