Perfect for sun shade webbing. Also used them to hold a tarp on my truck over my motorcycle and luggage(covered wagon style). For this I had to punch the holes for the pins (plier type leather punch). Took it cross country over 500 miles in heavy rain at times with no sign of looseness or degradation.

They definitely did the job!!! Wind had ripped the shade, I didn't want to toss it, when I saw these, I bought them!

Brilliant idea... if it worked. I sooo wanted these to work!! Before putting the clips on shade cloth I wanted to see how they work so I closed one with nothing in it. The tab that is supposed to hold the clip together breaks when you try to close the clip. I figured the first broken one was a fluke... so I tried another, and another with the same result. Waited til weather warmed up to use these, so it's too late to return. What a disappointment.

I don’t think I’m that weak but I had a hard time getting the clips to lock, even with pliyers it was hard.

Great idea. These clips are easy to use and perform well.
