Replaced HOSE COLLAR WITH 4" TOILET FLANGE
I replaced the hose collar with a pvc 4" toilet flange, 2 M8 1"bolts, 3" pvc pipe cover and a 5" hose clamp. Works great!!! The hose with the hose clamp makes it easy slide off and on. See pics

Interesting, but not worth the hassle
It keeps unhooking itself from the inlet. I can't really move it around since any twisting motion pulls it from the socket. The small amount of suction means you are constantly going to be unclogging it or loading leaves into the hose by hand. Would not recommend.

Good attachment but handle could be better
Product was easy to assemble and connect. Used it to suction and shred leaves. Good suction, but can get clogged by small branches mixed in with leaves. Handle attachment not sturdy, does not stay long at the same angle so it must be repositioned often.

Works but buy some duct tape
Let me start by saying that we LOVE the chipper/shredder this goes with. Once the leaves go through the machine, they are pulverized. We used to have at least 100 bags of leaves on our curbside in the fall, and this year we had none. We were able to use our leaf dust as mulch. That said, this attachment is not of the same quality. The handle was rickety, the angle of the nozzle made it difficult to deal with clogs, and the tube clogged frequently. We ended up not using the handle/nozzle and just using the tube. After one use (maybe 2 hours of sucking up dry oak leaves) the tubing had a tear. We taped it up, only to have it tear again when we used it a second time. We ended up having almost the entire tube taped up by the time leaf season was over. It did the job, but not without a lot of patching. We threw it away after our 4th go round. It’s a shame because the chipper/shredder is fantastic, and we would like to continue using it for leaves next season but I guess that means we’ll have to buy another $100 attachment that is only good for a few hours before we have to duct tape it together.

Great addition to the TAZZ shredder for leaves
I bought the TAZZ chipper/shredder mainly for leaves, although I do use it for sticks and branches too. The vacuum attachment works great. I have used both the leaf tray and also the nozzle end. Both work great. I had used a blower to clean up my lawn and put the leaves into the large pile. These are oak leaves and take forever to decompose, however, the vacuum attachment on the TAZZ unit made a quick work of shredding the leaves into very small particles - allowing me to turn the huge pile of leaves into a few small bags of mulch that I spread out in the back of our yard. Highly recommend the vacuum attachment/

Not worth the price
Seems like a good idea, and at $60 "used", I gave it a shot, but it really isn't worth the price.Pros:- Great suction. It sucked up leaves with no problems- Hose seems sturdy and thickCons:- Every piece but the hose is cheap plastic that will likely break quickly with moderate use.- Clogs easily. Don't suck up any twigs or anything that could block the hose because it will. And when it clogs, it can be hard to unclog depending on where in the hose it gets stuck- "Nozzle" and handle don't really work. The hose is so stiff that you really have to work to get the nozzle to go where you want it and with the cheap plastic it is made out of, it feels like it's about to break.I had already finished with leaf cleanup for the year by the time I got this, but I took it out just to see how it works for 30 minutes or so. I ended up taking the nozzle/handle off and just bending over and using the bare hose to suck up leaves. It seemed to work well that way until it clogged. Overall, with how stiff the hose is, how difficult it is to maneuver, the cheap materials used, and the clogging issues, its hard to see how this would be easier than just dumping the leaves in the hopper.Next year I'll try laying the hose next to a leaf pile and raking them towards it, but I'm guessing I'll end up just shoveling them into the hopper like this year.

You have to watch the hose where it attaches to your shedder. It has a habit of popping off.
I really like this vacuum hose. It completes my shedder so I can vacuum/mulch leaves as well as chip branches. My only issue is I wish it had a more secure method to attach to the shedder.

It's okay, BUT, needs to be upgraded in materials as far as the attachment piece.
Works pretty good. However, the attachment piece that is bolted to the housing of the chipper/shredder is made of plastic (it should be made of metal.) The attachment bolts have pulled through the plastic twice, with the movement of the vacuum hose during use. I have reattached both times using larger and larger flat washers. Really should not have to do this or worry about it.
