I have no clue how this bar works, all I can say is that it does.I was expecting it to be a stocking filler that never really got used but it is a permanent fixture by our kitchen sink.Onions, fish, garlic...all the smells gone instantly. And we cook Italian all the time, so everything starts with garlic.Its amazing

I have always hated using garlic/ onions because of the smell on my hands for days after.I bought this hoping for results and results I got , it definitely works ! Only a slight smell remained but after using a few times it had gone completely.Brilliant !!

Ok, so I don't profess to understand how it works, but I have had a fridge deodoriser which is simply a stainless disc sitting half submerged in a small tub of cold water, and it works well, so I had to try this one. Shaped like a well-used bar of soap, easy to handle and it sits in the kitchen like it belongs there. I was cutting up raw fish a day ago, and despite multiple efforts to get the smell from my hands, it remained. Until I got home and used my steel bar. All trace of odour gone in a few seconds. Like I said, I don't understand the science, but it most certianly works!

Wow, worth every penny. This stainless steel bar works like a champ. It doesn't seem like it will do anything when you're rubbing it with your hands. There's no lather, no soap, no fragrance and yet any and all smells are completely gone. Someone else's review mentioned gifting these as stocking stuffers. I love that idea and will definitely being doing that this year!

This is sized like a bar of soap, it fits in your hand well and is easy to use. It effectively removes the odor of onion and garlic from my hands, something even soap doesn't do well.

Utilisé comme un savon fonctionne très bien je recommande

Lo compré para uso en axilas y funciona bien pero se tiene que usar jabón normal antes o después.Cuando es para quitar aroma de las manos funciona perfecto. Solo unos 20 segundos tallando bajo el chorro de agua y se va cualquier olor.

In der Küche arbeite ich oft mit Zwiebeln oder Knoblauch deshalb habe ich mir aus Spass einmal dieses Teil geholt. Keine Ahnung wie es genau funktioniert aber es klappt einwandfrei.
