The Star Puzzle

I got this for my puzzle nut husband, he loves it. It is difficult enough to be entertaining but not too much so as to never be put together again. It is a nice wood also so it can be left out and not look tacky. Price is fair.

Attractive and well-made puzzle game that challenged all ages in the house the right amount. Worth noting that the final step can be difficult for children and those with small hands.

Fun toy! My son figured it out pretty quickly, so he hasn't picked it up since Christmas, though. But it's just what was advertised. It was fun to try to figure out. It's neat and not terribly expensive. If you're looking for something very challenging, you might want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, I'm a big fan. (My son is 11, btw.) Buyers got the product here in plenty of time for me to have it under the tree. I had no problems with them. Would highly recommend them. THANK YOU!

The puzzle pieces are shaped precisely and stained a nice dark color, creating an attractive tabletop piece. Maybe I cheated by noting the configuration and mechanics of the star before disassembling it, but unfortunately I didn't find rebuilding it any challenge at all. I was able to recontruct it on my first try in about 1 minute. I am not exaggerating or trying to brag, just giving an accurate assessment for others who may be considering this puzzle and whose decision hinges on its degree of difficulty. So, while I like the looks of this piece, it has to rate in the 'easy' category. For those who will buy this anyway, probably the best course of action is to have someone else take it apart and for the 'player' to learn as little about its original design as possible before attempting to solve it, otherwise it's child's play.

First, I was planning to gift this to someone. But it came without a box.Then, I opened the plastic covering. Appearance wise wood is fine.But more I touch it, I feel more powder-y sawdust on my skin. Low quality wood or processing.Will ask for a return.

I hate to give this such a low rating considering the wood is nice but the overall puzzle quality could be much better.The puzzle pieces don't seem to fit snugly into one another as they should. Even once it's completed, it is very wobbly. If you YouTube other random "star puzzles" you will understand what I mean by snugly fitting into each other.

The folks that make these puzzles have sure got a mean streak. I picked up a few as a gift for an older family member, and found each to present its own special challenges. This one nearly falls about by itself with just the right little twist. The problem comes in putting it back together. There are six identical pieces which seem obvious--but aren't. I haven't yet seen it successfully reassembled.Quality is good and the wood gives it a nice traditional feel.

Well constructed. Bought this as gift for a friend's teenage kids. Drove them nuts. Perfect!
