More effective than fish oil, not rancid smelling like fish oil and at a good price.
Krill oil provides phospholipids that are not found in fish oil, and those deliver EPA and DHA through the blood-brain barrier more effectively.Fish oil often smells oxidized, even in sealed capsules within sealed jars. That is not true for krill oil capsules, but it is good insurance to add some BHT crystals to the bottle when first opening it. That is easier than refrigerating the opened jar. Please do not be concerned about the harvesting of krill. While harvesting impacts the survival of penguins and other marine carnivores, the quantity found in these capsules is not relevant compared with feeding farmed shrimp in Vietnam and as a filler in dog food. We do need to reduce industrial harvesting, but these capsules do not meaningfully contribute.Too much is made about the tiny amount of astaxanthin present in krill oil. While it does not harm, the effective dose is at least 4-6 milligrams per day, commonly derived from cultivated algae.

Cholesterol Buster
Since I have been taking krill oil, my cholesterol numbers have been so much better. I tried fish oil, but it makes re-runs. Krill oil is much better, and I intend to take this every day.

High Dosage At An Attractive Price, Good Results
I’ve used Fish Oil as an Omega 3 supplement for years. While I’ve heard and read of Krill Oil, I never tried it, mostly due to price. When naturebell released their version of Krill, I bit the bullet because I use a number of their other products with good results. The high dosage and the presence of astaxanthin, antioxidants, and phospholipids also played a role in my decision. After two weeks of substituting Krill for my regular Fish Oil, the arthritic irritation in my knees after walking each day has started to decrease. While I can’t claim it’s due to the Krill, I can’t disclaim it either. So I’m very encouraged and look forward to where I might be after using it for months. I also look forward to comparing my next 6-month blood test with last month’s. I should add that the gels are easy for me to swallow and I don’t have any aftertaste.

Maybe Not the Best
There may be no fishy aftertaste but the fish smell coming out of bottle is pretty potent and is a good turn off. Also I bought the 1000 mg and should have researched further. Recommendation is for only 500 mg a day as anymore can inhibit blood clotting. All in all product will apparently do what it is advertised to do but the above might be red flags for some so I listed for info purposes.
