very happy does the job and solid too

I have just received my new Doorricade. It was delivered on time which is always appreciated. I have not had an opportunity to install it as of yet but my preliminary assessment is very positive. For example, the actual bar, the Doorricade itself, is made of high grade solid aluminum. Strong but light. Also, the package includes both 3" and 1.5" screws. If you have enough wood in your door frame the 3" screws that will provide additional strength. If however you don't, the 1.5" screws will be more than adequate. Finally, Doorricade even gives you a wood drill bit to pre-drill the screw holes, a nice touch. All in all I am quite impressed with the product and give it 5 stars out of 5.

My dooricade came in a box that was opened at the end and sloppily taped closed and the rubber end cap was missing on that side. I messaged the seller and they quickly sent me a replacement for the cap and now it doesn't easily slide off the hinges. I really appreciate that. Quick to install but there wasn't a weight listing for the screws so I used some spare stud screws I had (rated for 875 lbs each) since I was only able to use the two back holes for the hinge - the front two would have just gone through the door trim. Hope it'll never have to come into use but with how sturdy it feels it's a little extra peace of mind.

Very well made bar lock with all necessary fittings. Clever design. The only problem I had was it was 1 inch too long for my door but an angle grinder soon sorted this. Almost impossible to break through unless the intruder - cut a hole in the door.

This security door barrier has given me the sense of security I needed! Easy to install, easy to use, and an easy state-of-mind to know that my home door can't be easily kicked in! Definitely recommend!!!
