I use a separate tempered glass protector under it. **Q: Is the finger print on the screen protector?** A: To correct, ir clarify the response above the screen protector does have a specially coated area on it the exact size of the fingerprint reader on the Samsung A54 5G face. It has a tacky substance on that area only, on the inside of the protector that helps to keep it on place. It does not interfere with the readability or accuracy of the fingerprint reader when using biometric access. Here's a tip: Make sure you clean your screen well before installation, because if you ever have to take the cover off to clean it you will compromise the ability of your print reader when reinstalling. That location looses its tackiness to stick to that spot and also allows dirt/dust to stick there as well, inhibiting the accuracy or rendering your printer reader useless when using the screen protector. It happened to when I accidentally rubbed a mens cleaning cloth over the top of that area on the inside, so every time I use my print to open something I have to take the cover off to use it, which can be a real pain.
