Tablecraft H414 Syrup Dispenser with Chrome Plated Metal Top, 14 oz, Clear

As long as you store it upright (fell over once on my new fridge's giant door shelf - had a spill). I love this thing. It is fairly inexpensive & I find not too sticky after months of use by my 9 year old son. It will leak, but I found some advice from a prior review that I'll poorly reiterate here: when pouring, tilt over the food item & then engage the trigger, then release the trigger before bringing the dispenser upright again. This minimizes drips down the spout. I usually wash this puppy between refills so a few drips are not too tough to deal with, plus I just will wipe the bottom with a warm wet cloth once every other month or so . . . in use by my family for about 5 months now.

I bought this dispenser in 2009, about 8 years ago, for honey. We buy honey in large bottles, and this dispenser makes it easy and convenient to keep honey on the kitchen table. In the time we have had it, we have had no problem with any dripping from the spout. To prevent dripping, just close the spout before turning the dispenser upright. Since the jar is glass, you can take the top off and put it in the microwave for a few seconds if the honey starts to sugar. We have also found that this dispenser is very easy to clean in hot sudsy water. After 8 years of constant use, this dispenser looks and works like it did when it was new.

We are trying to get away from plastic. This container is the one. It is glass and metal. It works great. It is like I am at ihop every morning.

It works with honey, so I’m happy! No mess, and if it gets to thick I just pop the top off and microwave it. There will be a slight bead of honey at the tip but I just wipe it away or wipe it on my coffee cup, etc. a good purchase overall.

I use it for keeping my dish soap on the sink. It looks so pretty with Dawn blue and the slider allows just the right amount to be dispensed. I'm sure it's fine for syrup and honey, but that's beside the point around here.

I have previously purchased what I *thought* was an identical syrup dispenser and I absolutely love that one. So I wanted to get this second one for honey. I was very excited to use it because my neighbour keeps bees, and so regularly gives me honey. Well, imagine my disappointment when this thing started leaking from the top right away. No amount of repositioning the cap has helped, so I can only surmise that the cap itself, or the rubber ring inside the edge of it, is defective. I think it may be a combination of both as no matter how I position the rubber ring it leaks at the same point: right below the handle. Anyways, beware. Purchase this elsewhere.

A great replacement for the icky suger bowl. Avoid the clumps from wet sppons. Pours nicely and closes nice so humity does not clump the suger either. Or get 2, for syrup or honey

Got this to put my honey in rather then the plastic bear bottle. Sturdy and easy to use. Some other users are repoted problems with the spout dripping, but I have not had that problem at all. Just close the spout when you are done dispensing and the return to the upright position.

Nice looking and good quality. Pours well too. I put some of my pure maple syrup from a big container in it and store it in the fridge. When I want the syrup, I just screw off the metal top and microwave the glass bottle to just take the chill off the syrup. Very happy with it.

I am phasing out plastics wherever possible and no longer buy honey in plastic bottles. All the other honey dispensers were also plastic. This is the only glass one and is a bit expensive but is worth it.If you release the thumb lever while the honey is still flowing it does not make a drip.
