Is this a good alternative to Similac advance?

Yes! My baby did so much better on this than the Similac advanced. She'd be gassy and fussy on the advanced, and as soon as I changed her to this she even started sleeping through the night!

How many cans do you need per month for a baby drinking 30-35 oz a day?

I’m not sure how the previous poster is getting 3 weeks out of 1 can. (Maybe they meant the 3-pack?) We are getting about 5-7 days out of 1 can. Don’t forget to account for any waste.

Does the formula usually come with a long enough expiration date?

I just bought this product this past month and the expiration as 12/2023
