I’ve had this product since summer 2023, so I’ve had it for two partial summers and one full winter so far. I initially purchased the product because the AC wasn’t working in my house last year and I needed something to cool off that I could use while walking around. I did my research and picked this up because of the piezoelectric cooling, as opposed to just being a simple neck fan. On cool mode, it immediately helps cool me down and bring a sense of relief. I use the cool mode anytime I need to quickly cool down or if I’ll be walking around outside in the sun. The fan mode also helps, but I’ve noticed it’s more of a help if the ambient air is also pretty cool or if I’m already sweaty. It also has a heat function which I used a lot in winter, and it gets quite hot, even on the first heat setting. I can go out in freezing weather in just a hoodie and pants for a while if I’m wearing the heater. For hot weather, on cool mode, the fan only lasts a couple of hours. On fan mode, you can get way more battery time. I can make the battery last all day if I’m smart about switching from fan/cool based on if I’m inside or outside, in the shade, etc. Don’t expect this thing to be like a giant AC unit blowing right at your face, but it WILL cool you down a bit and bring some relief. I sometimes wear it to bed if I want some extra fan at night even. The app connectivity is a nice gimmick but I rarely find myself using it and just press the buttons on the device itself. All in all, it was pricey but I really like it. Oh, and it came with a nice case. I usually put it on my neck in off mode when not in use, but the case is nice for throwing the unit into a bag or for travel

I purchased this 2S to replace a 2 that lasted less than a year. So far this one works well. I haven’t even bothered with the app as that’s not something I see the need for for my personal use so I can’t speak to that “improvement”. The battery life is extended in all settings but not by much (the “ac” and highest fan still drain it quicker than the rest)—I’d say you get *maybe* 25-45 minutes more on average than it’s predecessor. Charging it is quick though. The air settings are nice and you can feel the difference between them but like most any other fan, they don’t work well if it’s too hot or there’s a breeze around you. The “ac” setting feels instantly cool and lasts a bit of time before you become accustomed to that, but if the temperature is high or you’re outdoors, it won’t be as beneficial. The heating setting is quick and lasts. The “case” fits the product and its cord well but feels cheap and more likely to protect aesthetics than it not breaking but that’s totally just my very subjective opinion. For the price this is good enough so far, but I’m hoping this one actually lasts unlike the other one… UPDATE: It’s been another month or so and this stopped working entirely! It won’t even turn on nor charge. It’s obviously past the return window for Amazon and their CS isn’t helpful. The only respond received was a GROUP email that was seemingly a blanket copy paste and wasn’t really relevant, muchlesss actually helpful. At this point, I can no longer recommend this…

I purchased this for work. I work outside most of the time or in a non climate controlled, semi indoor environment. What I have noticed with general use is that as the battery drains the cooling weakens and once the temp is above 85F outside the cooling also begins to diminish. Beyond that, they worked fine for the first month and did make a big difference. I noticed less head sweat and the heat over all felt a lot easier to work in. However, after a month the cooling pads stopped working and I needed to contact customer service. Luckily they were quick to respond and surprisingly they sent me a new unit basically within a day of me contacting them with the issue. According to them, the issue I had was a freak occurrence. As long as the new unit continues working beyond this point, it's a good product and customer service was phenomenal when I did have an issue.

Honestly there are not enough words for how much I love this. I have many health and auto immune disorders that cause me to have very poor body reactions to sun and heat. Plus I’m a touch overweight. I’m the kind of person that if outside too long, will throw up from heat. So imagine how mad I am about the fact it’s 90 degrees in mid-May… in Seattle. Like seriously I am all about blessing the rains down in Seattle… But, in being part of the queer community, I always wondered how furries didn’t die in those suits walking around Pride events in the heat like. Heck. Mad respect. I was complaining about my heat issues one day and the person was like “yea we use personal AC” and my jaw dropped. Like that’s an option? Anyway so my searches led me to this, and I gotta say, it’s amazing. The cooling element feels like a chill ice pack and the fans push the air. Inside, it’s super awesome. You are personally air conditioned. Outside- if you’ve ever been in like, NOLA, on a day where it’s sweltering- there’s this feel when you cross from the air conditioned inside to the wall of heat outside, and for like 2 sec, you exist in both dimensions. This is pretty similar. You are very aware of the heat, but it’s still cool at the same time. It makes a huuuuge difference. I do wear mine upside down, so the vent holes are on the bottom, because when they are facing up they tickle my ears uncomfortably, and also make it super hard to hear. And, honestly, it’s not my head that’s overheating, it’s my torso. This direction cools off most of my body. Only wish is that the battery lasted longer, I get about 3 hrs a use. But, it works while charging, so if you have spare external batteries you can keep it going. If it does drop to zero you need to get it to about 3% before it powers back on. Highly recommend using included cable, in tests of other usb-c’s it didn’t charge as fast. I need ones for my arms and thighs to keep the air flow going as if it were Spice on Dune. Not a paid review, just a disabled queerdo totally in love.

Update: Seller reached out and refunded in full without me asking. No risk in trying this one if you're on the fence. Original: Bought this last fall and it sat unused until this summer. I used it on a theme park visit. It worked ok. Nothing amazing, but way better than the regular cheap fans. The battery lasted about an hour or two on high. Went to charge it to use it the next day and it just reads 0% then flashes a % on the display and does not charge. Check the other reviews-- lots of 1 star reviews for charging issues or it breaking. Save your money and go for something better.

If you get heat flashes this is great. It makes you feel much better. Compared to a neck fan cooler, you’d throw the fan out. I really like it. I’ve used it the whole summer. I ventured outside when I really would have stayed inside because it was so hot. Others that I know from NYC and DC swear by it too. (That means they live it.) I went to the mountains in Colorado and it was great to turn it into a heater for your neck. [I am waiting for the full body suit so I can turn off A/C cooling and heating. Sit in a chair and plug me in.] I will keep buying these if the battery goes. It hasn’t slowed down though. Using the app is great. There aren’t just three speeds! I start at C1, use for 15 minutes, then switch to C2 for 20 minutes. I use C3 sparingly. I usually end at 52% battery. Run & charge from external power bank. This is really clever on their part. When you get into a car, charge it and continue to use it. Usually I fully charge the neckset before using an external power bank. Green USB connector. But that isn’t really needed. I figure it is easier on a power bank. I have a hefty power bank that has never gotten below 80%. But, it would easily give a days usage at C3. I have never done this. I tend to try and get out of the heat every hour. Expect to sweat on your neck. It really makes it transmit more heat from you to the cooling plates. I carry a paper towel to wipe the inside before using the neckset. The fan blowing up avoids my ears and really cools. But, I would not watch TV at C3. You can hear but it’s distracting. I do not really feel stupid wearing them. People think I’m listening to music or something. I wear them an entire day and forget they are there. They aren’t heavy and aren’t annoying.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the Coolify 2S, but other reviewers sounded satisfied, so I took a chance. I understand the basic principle of cooling the neck area to help cool the rest of the body, and I've tried the wet towel around the neck. Problem is, that cooling doesn't last very long, if at all. This little device has surprised me so far. It does have a fan the blows air up along the sides of the face, but more importantly, it has cooling plates that go around the neck. That's actually what makes it so effective. I tried it out for about 30 minutes, and when I removed it, the skin of my neck was colder than I expected it to be. It felt about the same as if I'd had a cold compress wrapped around my neck. Definitely impressed. I'm looking forward to experimenting with it, and seeing how well it does in the coming summer months. The battery seems to last, but I've only used it on low so far, so I have yet to see how well it works when it's really pushed hard to keep me cool. Also, a feature I like is using it while it's plugged in. So plugging it in while sitting at a desk or using a portable battery charger can greatly extend it's usefulness. I did have one issue with it, where it lost connection to my phone app. Their customer service is fantastic, and they clearly stand by their product. Their quick response guided me through the simple fix, and I haven't had any other problems with it. So far, so good. Now to just wait for the real test of the Summer months.

The description is false; the battery lasts about 2 hours even on level 1. It’s not a lot of use if you’re out in the heat for a longer time. Quite disappointing for the price. Update: went wrong after less than a month and stopped working. Sent back

I bought this product last year to help me combat the heat. I am super sensitive to the heat. I thought it was great at first because it actually gets cold. But soon I realized it is not nearly as effective as I had hoped. The fans do not blow with much force at all and you can't adjust the angle at all. It does get cold on the neck but it isn't very effective. If I wear this outside I hardly notice it doing anything but blowing air at my ears. The battery power sucks so this can only be used for maybe 3 hours before needing to be charged. I am very disappointed with this product. Save yourself the money and just get a neck fan.

The product is sleek and refined. Like the cooling effect. However, much noisier than Xiao Mi neck fan that I also own by close to 10db. The numbers of outlets can be improved to give 360 deg cooling both top and bottom.
