I bought the this back brace hoping for some relief from a couple of bulging discs that have been making me feel about 30 years older than I actually am. After wearing it for a week, I can honestly say this thing has been a game changer.The support is firm without feeling like I'm being squeezed by a boa constrictor. It helps keep my posture in check and noticeably reduces the discomfort when I'm standing, walking, or doing chores around the house. I've even caught myself moving around without making those dramatic dad noises every time I stand up.The materials feel durable, the fit is adjustable, and it stays in place better than other braces I've tried. I owned a PT practice for 20 years. We saw m as my patients e back pain. Before Amazon, we stocked and sold msny braces. I have lumbar stenosis and bad pain w prolonged standing. This is a good brace. I could feel it as soon as I put it on. Buy it.

I thought this brace was very comfortable right out of the package but the one thing I did NOT like was it was a bit too "springy" because the tightening straps are elastic and stretchy. I could never get the brace really tight the way I like. I was going to return it but upon looking more closely realized ONLY the bottom section of the straps were elastic and that I could replace those bottom sections of strap with regular inelastic webbing. It worked like a charm, and turned this brace into exactly what I needed. Super firm and supportive with no springiness, it is the most comfortable and supportive brace I have ever used. I ordered a second brace so I have a backup and will replace those elastic sections of the tightening straps once I start using the second one. The velcro on this sort of strap does not last forever so I will be prepared when the time comes.My verdict is so so on the original version because I could not get it tight enough, superb after replacing the elastic portion of the tightening strap.

Helps my back but size is smaller than it says, order size larger than you need.

Spent a week recently on a pistol range. Usually my back gives me problems but using this back brace really helped. After hours each day on the range, I was still able to function without the normal discomfort. This brace fit well under my shirt and pants and even allowed for use of a pistol belt.
