I initially considered returning it because a few times right after I purchased it, it didn't want to work. Then it worked for a while and seemed to clean things okay Eventually it would start, then just shut off after a minute or two. If you got lucky it would run the entire 5 or 7 minutes. When you plug it in now, the light still blinks on, but it never turns on. I would not recommend it.Edit...After finding out the unit did not work, the company contacted me to offer me another and some additional cleaning solution. They promptly mailed a replacement. The second unit works well. Based on the customer service they provided, I would recommend the product..

This is awesome for a quick clean of glasses, earrings, etc.I didn't find it necessarily "deep-cleaned", but I also didn't use any cleanser, just water.I did use it for a bunch of costume jewelry that had been in storage for decades, and it worked to see what was worth cleaning up with polish, and what was better off in the donation bin.For jewelry that isn't tarnished, this did a great job of removing residue for a nice polish with a soft cloth.

This product comes in a plain white cardboard box. It has an Amazon bar code on the top of the box with the Country of Origin being China. It is well packaged and protected inside the box. My brother asked me to buy this as a gift idea for his wife who loves to where sterling silver 929 jewelry. She has used this multiple times since the holidays on the 5 minute and 7 minute settings and both work great. She uses the 7 minute session if her jewelry is really tarnished. It comes looking like new every time. She uses plain tap water out of the kitchen sink. She is really impressed and she loves her gift. She asked me to write this review for her so that others looking for a jewelry cleaner that works with tap water consider this model.

The product worked great for three months, and then abruptly stopped working. To be more specific, it stopped agitating, but it’s usual speed and begin admitting a terrible burning plastic smell.

Easy to use, two time settings, compact, easy to store or pack.

So far it seems to work.

I was really surprised as to how well the cleaner has worked.
