I bought this adjustable tension rod for a totally non-traditional use — to hang holiday décor above my front door. It ended up working perfectly. The rod is sturdy, easy to adjust, and strong enough to hold a full garland without bowing or slipping. Installation took maybe a minute. Twist, press, and it locked in securely. I’ve opened and closed the door multiple times and the rod hasn’t budged at all. The matte black finish also blends in nicely and doesn’t look cheap up close. I needed a quick solution for a small window and didn't want to drill into the trim. This rod is perfect! This curtain rod is perfect!!! I'm using it to hold up curtains to create a cozy bedroom area in my studio. Easy to assemble, quite thin, but very sturdy. Very important to read the instructions, otherwise it will fall down lol You can't really see from the picture but I'm using it to hold up four curtains (two pairs). It's been up for about two weeks so far and no issues. Very happy!

Very sturdy. I used the wide-width for my small space outdoor lanai. Usually leave the screens open but sometimes it's nice to block rain, heavy summer sun, or just get a little privacy when in my night gown. These would be great anywhere, in a closet or you just want a pretty tapestry effect.

I used this to hang regular curtains in front of my shower doors. One end is removable and will work with rod pocket curtains. Twists to stay in place and my curtains are pretty heavy and it’s not moved.

Happy with quality and price. I purchased curtain rod to hang lightweight cotton curtain. The rod is extended to 69 inches. Holding well. The ends of rod (approx. 1.5 inches wide) fit perfectly in doorframe. Nice finish. No scratches. Easy install.
