It works great. No problem with the unit except it is noisy. Louder than I expected.

Perfect.
Blows hard, not any louder than a desk fan. Built nice with thick cord. Blades are nice and sharp, so animals would not want to venture. I am doing something different with this, after consulting with AI 3.5. I had a raccoon problem in the spring, so I am preparing for next spring. I am removing and sealing all ridge vents, now I only have soffit vents. I am running a flex duct up to attic peak, and using this fan to blow heat and humidity out of a soffit. The roof will have nothing for raccoons or anything else. My roof is too high for me to go up there, but I can check and maintain the soffits myself. Should work. Btw replaced downspouts with rain chains, which raccoons do not like. This helps too. Will update if anything changes with this fan.

Great inline metal booster fan
I am using mine for my garage heating where I have a lot of 4" vent hose and I wanted this on some of my longer runs. The 100CFM is good for the fan size in this. I also like that it is a metal housing instead of plastic. It pushes the air well in my install. I had to install into a smart plug so it would turn off when I also turn off the heat with my smart thermo. I picked this up on sale for about $12. I should have bought 2 at that price.

Not so durable
It was powerfull for few months but after that it stopped sucking the air out powerfully and the speed slowed down.

Plenty air flow
Our house runs off a woodstock for heat. The previous owners built an addition on this house and the furnace heat couldn't reach the back rooms. We put in more ducting and put in a vent fan we got from a local hardware store. Still didn't do much. After 2 years that fan stopped working so we got this one. With this new vent fan, the back rooms finally get warm! It's noisy so we only run it at night - sorta like white noise - but the back of the house having warmth is worth the noise.

Don't buy, will fail in 5 months
Purchased in Sep 8, 2024. Failed in Feb 20 2025. Doesn't function anymore. Not running. That's 5 months for $18 of survive. Poor product results. Would have paid x2 as much to have running for 6 years. China product. Shame on you! Don't buy. Purchase from reliable source if one can be found these days. Get a warranty for one 1 year people. Please. and in writing. Or blood or first born. (Yea that's too much, but you get it)
