Rising Strong as a Spiritual Practice

I love Brene Brown talks and this talk does not disappoint. She is so refreshing and funny making it easy to go along on your self development journey.

I liked the fact that itiis audible yet flowing and entertaining

I have been avoiding her - too popular, too lauded, too many out of context quotes all over Facebook. This gave me a chance to hear her talking "in person" and I've decided based on listening that I want to learn more. However I am glad I am coming to this after doing some work of my own and with a therapist. I think otherwise I would have grasped it with both hands thinking I had found all the answers. As she says herself, it is more work than that. The content is practical for understanding and putting into daily use, and, crucially for me, she is realistically humble, unlike so many other "therapise yourself" authors.
