Famousby KIWAYA FS-5G Soprano Ukulele with gig bag Made in Japan

I absolutely love it now, but the strings it came with were very temperature sensitive and wouldn’t stay tuned for half a song so I gave up on it until recently when someone realised the problem and kindly changed the strings for me. It’s a small and exceptionally light soprano, very pretty, both in appearance and sound, but with a wider fretboard than normal so it’s perfect for picking. It’s now my ‘go to’ ukulele. I just love it! ❤️

This is a fantastic instrument. The projection and sustain is superb, especially on a soprano. If labels are important, it's not a "Kiwaya" brand on the headstock but if you know ukulele instruments you know it's made by Kiwaya under it's original Japanese label, "Famous." The build can't be beat and in fact will rival any solid wood Martin or Hawaiian build. Yet, it's a super thin laminate that puts to shame most solid woods. Laminate also means it isn't subject to vagaries in humidity and the effects that has on fine wooden instruments. This is not a toy instrument however. The sound will standout in any musical gathering or venue. This has become an important part of my UAS collection. Fun to play and it makes serious music. BTW, it's a lot less expensive than the export model and the setup is spot-on. The n-Lion folks are great to work with, responsive and they shipped a Korg tuner with the order - super.

綺麗だし音も良くて満足しています。未熟な初心者が弾いても、他社製のマホガニー材のものより響きが良いという印象です。ケースが薄っぺらかったので、ソフトケースも買う予定です。

I’d read some good reviews on this Famous FS-5G, and believe me it’s lived up to the reviews. First off the delivery from Japan only took 21 days, which is far less than some of the estimates. The uke was packed in the usual triangular type box inside an Amazon box with a minor amount of crumpled paper, and amazingly it arrived in perfect shape.On opening, I was really impressed with how beautiful this uke is. The workmanship is second to none. The setup is spot on, and the sound is amazing.

初めてのウクレレです。長く付き合いたいので安心感のあるfamousにしました。初心者にはちょっと贅沢かと思いましたが艶のあるきれいなボディを見てるとまた1段とやる気が増してきます。購入してもうすぐ1ヶ月、心地よい音色に癒される毎日です。こちらのウクレレを選んで本当に良かったと思います
