For years our cat has gotten sick, frequently puking everywhere! Vet has had no solutions. All she says is buy prescription foods. Been there, done that, to no avail. This SOLID GOLD indoor canned chicken pate, has been a Godsend! Rarely does our cat get sick now. He LOVES this food. I will admit though, just don’t hold it close to your nose. It contains some TUNA which there’s not a lot of emphasis on, ergo It stinks.😸 If your cat has digestive issues THIS IS GREAT FOOD!

My cats don't finish this food so I think they don't like it that much. I'm only having this problem with the most recent batch, last time I ordered this my cats seemed to like it. One of the cans in this batch exploded when I opened it, after opening it I realized that the can was kind of puffy, it also didn't "pop" in the way that it normally does. Only one can seems to be defective in this way but I'm going to discard the rest just in case. I called the number on the can, the phone number for the company is out of service. Sent an email to their customer service. Amazon doesn't allow for returns of cat food but has said they will issue a refund. ETA: the company's customer service is great and they reached out to me to offer a replacement. Will update my review when the replacement comes. Got the replacement - excellent customer service! Unfortunately, my cats won't touch this food. They eat around it if I try to mix it with anything else. Not sure what's wrong with it or if they just don't like the taste, but all 3 cats have an aversion to this food.

I’ve opened 3 cans and the product is dry and has a waxy smell. It does not smell like cat food at all. One of my cats is diabetic and I need to avoid as much grain as possible. Both of my cats will not go near this food. I have no idea what the issue is, but they will not even attempt to eat it. I will try to donate this to a shelter. Edit: The company reached out and offered a full refund. I appreciate that they understand this food may not satisfy the appetite of every cat. I’m glad so many cats love this food and can support the Solid Gold products. My two guys, unfortunately have spoken, and you all know how cats can be!

Both my cats both love this food. They talk constantly about it at feeding time. UNTIL. My last shipment of this food was bad. It smelled and the cats refused it. They had been throwing up for a few days. I believe it was from the bad food. The expiration date was within a few weeks. I had to throw away 21 cans. What happen to this company? I have been ordering this food for 2 years.
