I used this jig while building a dog kennel to align the bars, and it worked great. The top and bottom holes lined up perfectly, which was important for this project. I do wish it grabbed a little more wood, but the shorter design actually makes it easier to hold on smaller pieces. It holds securely and aligns very well as is. The tolerances are good, and the hole-size inserts screw in and out smoothly and it does not mar the wood. It feels sturdy, has some weight to it, and is quick to set up. Every hole centers nicely — just what I needed for precise, clean work.

Okay...so I am relatively new to woodworking, but I have always appreciated good tools, and I can tell you that this tool has been a tremendous addition to my panoply of great tools! I am making a Prie Dieux / Prayer Kneeler for my daughter, and I have had to do some joinery to accomplish this task. Though this is my first time using dowels for woodworking (I told you I was new to it!), my project was greatly simplified by this product! First, I used it to make a jig, and then I used the jig to shallowly drill holes, and then I went back to this tool and used it (lining it up with the shallowly-drilled holes at the end of my board) to drill the deeper and perfectly-centered and straight holes I needed for my dowels. It worked perfectly! Additionally, the instructions were relatively well written and easy to understand! I would definitely purchase again, or if I knew anyone was getting into woodworking, I would give it to him or her as a gift! Awesome product! :-)

This BLEKOO doweling jig is a game-changer for repeatable joinery. The self-centering design and laser-engraved guides make aligning dowels fast and accurate. With 6 hardened steel bushings (1/4", 3/8", 5/16") and 5 fixed hole sizes up to 1/2", it handles everything from furniture frames to dowel joinery on round or square stock. The aircraft-grade aluminum body is rigid, and the clamp holds firm without slipping. It’s especially great for DIY and medium-duty shop projects, but the replaceable bushing feature is what gives this jig serious longevity. Just wish the 7/16" and 1/2" holes had bushings too still, excellent bang for the buck.

Needed a tool to align holes for dowels in the middle of 3 inch wide post frames for projects. This tool is meeting my needs and is simple to use. I only drill 1 hole at a time so I can have custom spacing.

Ready to use out of the box. Accurate and versatile. Used it to pin together cabinet doors. Corners lined up square and tight.

Centered on 3/4” pine nicely using the 3/8 far left quide. Did not try the others. Used it to draw a centerline with 0.5 mech pencil that fit nicely into the 3/8 sleeve - accurate. However, when I marked dowel spacing along the length the jig alignment markings were off by 1/64” and drilling was off considerably more. For accuracy, I used a brad point 3/8 bit to first dimple the location I wanted the dowel, inserted the bit into the jig without drill, slide the jig until the bit registered, tightened the jig then drilled. Will keep it for small projects knowing the time wasting work around for a cheap POS. Inserts go in ok but obiously out of a mold and not machined. Definately a trade off of quality for price.

Have not used this yet but…. I bought it to drill straight 1/2” holes in thick slabs for floating shelf brackets. Essential to get the holes drilled in straight. Pretty sure this rig will work. Wish the larger holes (1/2”) had a threaded sleeve also, not just a hole.

I bought this one for my senior high students. It’s easy to use. They like it.
