Great for repair plastic
I used this product to repair a broken plastic part for a vacuum cleaner with epoxy. It is very strong. Although it looks like plastic but when I tried to burn it it won't burn. So I guess it is real carbon fibre. Anyway, I need to cut it into small pierces about 1/2"x2" in order to apply over the broken parts. This turned out to be a challenge since the fibre at the edge keep getting loose and falling off. So I had to cut it to slightly larger pieces and work gingerly to keep the small pieces intact. But once I put epoxy over it, it was working fine. I sanded off the edges after epoxy cured as the fibres are poking out and very sharp. It has worked better than I thought.

Good product
Worked fine on my hydrofoil wing project. Added strength to build. Hard to know the quality but no issues with product or application.

High quality, great looking pattern.
For what I was using this for, it worked out “OK”, but it looked great. Actually, I have no idea what I’m doing making carbon fiber anything…I had a crack in a carbon fiber electric longboard skateboard. I’m a big dude, and wanted to try to reinforce the skateboard deck fearing I’d break it. I ended up having to epoxy it twice (because I didn’t know what I was doing), but after the second time, it worked (I think) for my needs. While I can’t really attest to its strength if it were being used by a professional, I really do feel like it stiffened up my deck and it looks good. It would look great if a pro used it.

Good Carbon Fiber
This works well for carbon fiber layup needs. I didn't have any issues with getting a strong structural fiber composite structure with this.

Great workability
Great weave and strength once cured. Easy to cut and shape.

Fibers separate easily
It looks nice and is real carbon fiber, but the fibers separate easily and leave small gaps if you’re not careful
