After the dealership quoted me over $200 just for a replacement. I tried this one 1st. . Works good and saved me a lot of money

Poke around on you tube first. This worked well for me, but know what you are replacing first.The inside of my old key fob has three small metal disks attached to the rubber buttons. One of those metal disks became dislodged, and this replacment was the solution. My old fob has a screw that needs to be removed before you get inside it. The new one is slightly different, and is not an exact replacent for mine.However. I removed the rubber buttons part of the new one and fiddled with it a bit and got it to fit in my old key fob. If you dont have a screw in your old fob, this is exactly what you need. If your old key fob has a screw in it, your results will vary.I knew it was time to do something because the old fob didn't always click when I pushed a button, and sometimes it just locked on its own. Turns out it was a faulty button. Considerably cheaper to get this than have a locksmith or dealer replace it. Has worked great for months now.

My Dodge key fob was "haunted"! The car would lock itself, open side doors, and auto start without touching any buttons. The new key case did the trick. No more problems, and the buttons have a new positive click feel - better than the original!! A great bargain.

Even though the product is good, the rubber mold it isn’t exactly perfect, but you can make it work.

Bought 2 of these for my 2014 chevy silverado work truck that did not come with a remote fob. I did have to buy the dorman programer to program the remote but it was very simple to do and took less then a couple minutes.These remote key fobs feel like they are well built and have a nice feeling to them. Buttons feel good to the press and I dont feel like I will accidently press them when they are in my pocket. Battery replacement is very simple to do.I wouldnt hesitate to buy if you're on the fence about it!

Personally I needed a new key fob housing, not the key just the button housing for my small chip and battery, when I ordered this I scheduled it to be delivered on February 16th 2018, when instead it came a day earlier which is always nice! My original problem with my key fob housing was it was to lose and wouldn't close all the way, so it wasn't making contact with my battery which lead to me having to press on the button at a super close range and multiple times before the car would unlock, which I got annoyed of very easy. So if you have the same or similar problem, or your buttons are just worn then I would recommend buying this! Great product, quality is there, smoothness and the new feel is there, it snaps into place just fine with a little force and is for a great price!=============================Pros:*Great shipping.* Quality product its not some cheap rip off.* Nice and tight and it does fit, if you have trouble you need to push hard until it snaps in place.Cons: Remote start button is a little hard to press in, I would assume this is because it is a brand new fob housing which needs to be broken in with some pushes then it will loosen up. Other than that None other cons, and a great product!

Factory circuit board has an OK fit in this cover. I've seen better but I've also seen much worse. it works and its cheap so i definitely cant complain

DYI rebuild was fast and way less expensive than going to a car dealer. No programming was required in my case.

It was pretty easy to get the fobs apart and swap out the guts. The first time I did it, I had some trouble pushing the trunk and the start buttons. I took it apart and was more careful during assembly, and it feels fine, now. The buttons on the one I had were pretty much destroyed. Now it's like new!
