Was too heavy for arthritic hands and was returned for refund

This product certainly does make the handle of cutlery thicker and easier to hold. However, the sheafs have two points that let them down. Firstly, these are much, much heavier than standard built up cutlery and are excessively long. This moves the balance on the item to the end. Secondly, there is an X shaped slot in the handle to insert your own knife, fork etc. However, unless your cutlery has very thin or flimsy handles it is difficult or impossible to slide the sheaf on. We have average size handles on our cutlery and i am not able to put the sheafs on myself as they are so tight. My husband put one on a knife and it has remained there since because we cannot get it back off.

Extremely useful for adapting your own cutlery with good grip for my arthritic hands, definitely would recommend.

I have found these to be a bit heavy and big & bulky. They are good, but may suit a man better than a woman, in my opinion.

Gout in my hands has gradually worsened until I now need help. These sheaves are a tremendous help and so easily carried in my handbag when going out for a meal, but why oh why do we have to wait so long for delivery? I would have thought that they would have been a very common item but they have taken weeks to arrive, SO, 5 stars for the item & I would have given only 2 stars for whoever deals with dispatching them!!

This product is not ideal for elderly people as they are quite heavy. I bought them for my mother who often has cold hands and found holding cutlery difficult. However these were too heavy for her.

Very well-made & robust. Unfortunately they didn't suit my father's increasingly frail and weakening hands. It was definitely worth trying though. Great return service. Thank you.

I can now make cakes again as these make holding wooden spoons a dream.
