This iron eased the ironing task a lot it is enough to go 1 or 2 times to straighten up the fabrics

Have only used it once but have to say its brilliant ,steam very powerful made ironing quick and easy with variable heat settings . Only down sight cord is not long enough but not a problem hopefully it will last

Great iron, tackles tough creases and glides well! This is a replacement for an older model of the same spec. I did find the older azure (red/black) iron to be a lot more steamy by default! lol! I feel this one needs the shot steam to keep up.. also the cord isn’t as long as its predecessor. 4 stars!

In the 22 years as an Amazon customer, I haven’t left a single poor review as I can’t stand to be seen as being part of the ‘1 star brigade’ but today I feel really let down. I took a long time researching a new iron and although there was one detailed negative review, I decided, when pitted against countless other 5 star reviews, it was worth purchasing the Philips 7000 Series Steam Iron – 2800W for £69.99 After just 35 days, the iron stopped steaming, and appeared to get cooler whilst I was using it. I was only ironing one shirt at the time and so I left it to cool and come back to it later. I then came to use it on the 37th day and although there was power going to it (the light came on), it wouldn’t heat up. Considering it is so new, I contacted Amazon for a replacement, only to be told they would send a repairer to the house to take a look?? For a washing machine I could understand but this just seemed bizarre for an iron! I said I wanted a replacement since it is only 37 days old. Instead, I was then passed to tier 2 support where after a 42 minute phone call of repeating the issue, and being put on hold, I was told the only option is to send it back for the Amazon repair team to assess it, which will take 12 business days. Considering this was sold by Amazon (not a 3rd party sellor) and delivered by Amazon, I feel very let down by their poor service, and what now appears to be a poor quality product. I shall update this review when I receive a repair, replacement or refund.
