I've been using this machine for a month now and have really gotten a knack for it. It's straightforward and easy to use. With that being said, it won't turn you into an instant barista. My rhythm is basically to fill the reservoir all the way up and brew the coffee up to the 3.5 or 4 on the little pot. Then I run some steam out and froth up some milk from the fridge. I wait until it's really bubbly and almost too hot to hold the coffee mug in my hand. Then I pour the milk over the coffee and have been drinking some really yummy lattes at home and before work.Everything is simple to clean, the pot and lid combo, the handle and the filter are all that need a good clean afterwards. If you froth milk I just use the steam on a towel and release pressure and wipe at the same time.The brewing time is really fast, a few minutes at most. I grind my own beans and use about 3 scoops with the included spoon / flattener. I like to fill and pack the filter up to the 4 every time for some delicious espresso - like flavor and consistency.

I am Cuban, and we always drink our coffee very dark and strong, so expresso it is. In my house, we make coffee no less than twice daily on average, so we give this expresso maker a very heavy use, and this little machine has been doing great for a few months now. It doesn't burn the coffee and it always tastes great. I think that the single action that plays the biggest roll on making these machines last for a long time, is to never let the pressure build up in the machine after it's done making the coffee. Always open the steamer valve, or unplug the machine from the power, and leave the switch on the ON position to let the valve(s) open and releasing the pressure. I'm very happy with this coffee maker, and as soon as we need a new one, this will be ordered again.

Let me start by saying the company is supportive and attentive. They contacted me before the product arrived, after the product arrived and was quick to respond to any questions. I must say for the price I was leery and meditated about purchase for over a month. A month too long! I read many reviews, took notes of suggestions and dove in. As always the manual is more complicated than it needed to be. The machine is simple to use. One suggestion that was most helpful as I had a hard time understanding how the frother worked (to be honest I was pretty afraid of it was to brew the coffee half way (ie. to the 2 mark of the coffee pot) then turn on the frother for steam, then turn the brew back on to finish to mark 4. The company also suggested when I couldn't get the foam to put the frother down to line one of the metal frother cup I purchased separately. Works like a charm as you can see from the photos. I'm still perfecting but enjoying my toy. It's only been 10 days so I can't comment on durability. The only concern, and I'm sure the company is trying to work out kinks as this machine just went on the market in 2022, is that the coffee unit is hard to align with the machine. The machine is so light weight that you have to hold it pretty firmly and tinker with it to get it to lock in place. Froth arm is a little hard to clean but I try to clean it while it's still hot and the milk film comes right off. I've only tried to use 2% and it works fine. For the value, technicalities are still worth the effort. I wish the water chamber was see through so I could see how much water I have or there was an indicator of how long I need to steam. You do have to hold the steam metal cup while frothing but again, not a problem. Beats coffee shop prices. Especially when i found huge bottles of raspberry, hazelnut, vanilla, caramel sugar free creamers to add flavor for $2.29! What a delightful treat. Paid for itself already compared to the cost of coffee shops. Go ahead...dive in and become your own barista.
