Worked Perfectly for What I Needed It For
I originally bought this because a store had accidentally left a security tag on something I purchased and it was 30 to 45 minutes away. I really didn’t want to make that drive again just for the tag, and this worked perfectly for the one I needed it for. I did try it on a different style of tag from Target and it didn’t work, but I’m assuming that one uses a different type of removal mechanism, so I don’t really hold that against the magnet. Since then it honestly just sits in a drawer because I haven’t had much reason to use it again. It is a nice, compact and seriously strong little neodymium magnet though. I could definitely see it being useful if you regularly check jewelry or metals for magnetic properties. For what I bought it for, it did exactly what I needed and saved me a long drive.

Cap gets lost easily
Works great but keep losing the cap. Constantly attached to my keys. Very annoying. Need to be able to purchase caps separately.

Incredibly Powerful
My only possible complaint is that the magnet is TOO strong. The cap is supposed to nullify the magnetism, but it only dulls it. If you’re looking for a super strong, economical magnet, look no further.

Is it cake?
Reading the reviews I thought this was going to work to get a couple sensors off some items I’ve purchased but this was not it. Is it even a magnet? Literally barely sticks to ANYTHING. Don’t waste your $10.
