This is a great record keeping system. Until I bought this, I was using file folders to keep my receipts and excel for the records, which works ok, but with this system I have the written record and receipts in the same place which helps so much with keeping my different expenses organized. Also, because i rack up a lot of miles and have a lot of business expenses on the go, it is much more convenient to just keep this in my car and be able to file my receipts right when I get them instead of them filling my wallet waiting to be filed in my cabinet at home. That way, I'm able to write down my mileage & expenses right away instead of having to remember it and then record it on my computer later. Also, very easy to understand instructions and tips for legally keeping more of your money!

As a tax preparer I highly recommend this product. With the tax laws changing constantly you need a method of keeping track of all the little details like business income, receipts, mileage, travel expenses, etc. This system does it all. A place to write down your income, daily expenses, a pocket to keep the many receipts, and room for notes to keep you on track. Each month you just total the columns, close the receipt envelope and you are ready for the next month. And at the end of the year you are ready to take it all to your tax preparer. And your tax preparer will love you because you will be so organized. No more shoebox full of papers. This is a system that has been needed for a long time. I highly recommend it.

Even when you live in an electronic world, with lots of nifty apps, it helps to have some place to put physical copies of receipts, to enter mileage and other data. After all, the battery never dies on the Tax MiniMiser (like it does on my devices). Data doesn't scan upside down or scrunched up. It's all there at tax time. And if you're ever audited - the details are right at hand by month for the IRS auditor to see.Besides, if you don't use devices (I don't have a smart phone), this is a boon!Love this.

This is the best tax record keeping system I've used. It's so simple to use and I love the built in receipt envelopes for each month. No more misplacing receipts ever again. Each envelop has the required tax categories so each expense can be easily classified making each month easy to tabulate. Makes it a slam dunk at the end of the year when you have to file your taxes
