Recommend it 5 stars so far!
Huge difference compared to the cheap brand that I was using before! No pinching, no cutting, no stress! Only suggestion is to buy a cooling spray to keep the blade cool. It doesn’t get burning hot like others but it gets warm! My shi tzu was able to tolerate the warmth but is just a suggestion!

Amazing for a sheepadoodle
Amazing! Exactly what I've been looking for. I've tried lots of dog clippers, much more expensive PRO models ect. All failed on my sheepadoodle. His thick fur is too much for most. These combined slow speeds with wider teeth. NO BURNS or CUTS! He loved it. I'm not a professional groomer but do my own for my doodle. I HIGHLY recommend especially considering price. Thanks so much. My dog ENJOYED it!

Great clippers
These are great clippers. They’re pretty heavy so I was expecting them to be really loud but they’re not at all! I’m not a professional and I bought these to be able to cut our golden-doodle at home. They’re exactly what we needed and are really easy to use and clean.

Good Clipper, Bad Directions for Blade Change
I just took this clipper out yesterday to use it for the first time. Since I have a size 7 blade I wanted to put on, and since I am merely an amateur dog groomer of only my own dogs, I read the directions about how to remove the size 10 that came attached to it. Well, it turns out that THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE INACCURATE AND I CUT MYSELF ON THE BLADE pretty badly. (Hence, four stars.) I was worried I might need stitches, but so far the super glue I used on it is holding the skin together. This was completely avoidable since I discovered on accident how to actually easily remove the blade at the same time I sliced myself. (I am pretty sure the cut made it through all the layers of my skin on my pointer finger and I have a minor slice on the palm of my hand. The glue came off in the pic of my finger. You can sort of see the cut on the palm of my hand through the glue. I just took these pics now, not right after it happened. Will be re-gluing shortly.) The instructions say, "While holding down the blade release mechanism, push down on blade, then gently pull the blade forward." I am here to tell you not to push the blade down at all. You press the release button and then pull up on the blade and it easily comes right off. Both my husband and I tried to get it off using said directions without success, and I even used a rubber shelf liner to protect my hand while I did it. I don't even know how the slicing of my hand ended up happening. The blade was so sharp I didn't even feel it at first. So please be careful. I don't want anyond else to suffer like me. As for the clipper, it worked well on my Mini Schnauzer overall. I didn't even bother using the low setting much as the high setting was really smooth. My old Andis blade combs fit nicely on it. The cord is pretty long, but I still used an extension cord for it. The blade got hot eventually, just like any other blade, so I unplugged and let it cool off a few times. If you are a groomer, you likely have multiple blades, so that will probably only matter for us amateurs. The unit itself wasn't louder than usual. This doesn't come with a case, which I don't like, but it does have a little metal hanger on it. So enjoy the clipper, but be careful!

Amazing superior clippers
All I can say is I should’ve bought these earlier. The previous clippers I had were rated professional but were in no comparison to the quality, speed, functionality, and durability of these. I use these for personal use on my Aussie doodle, who has wavy thick hair. I asked a groomer and she recommended these along with another brand that was 4x the cost. Those weren’t in my budget but these work so well that I have no regrets. I would go over the same spots and unstick hair from the plastic attachment combs every few swipes taking me over an hour to simply cut the hair evenly. I bet it took me 25 minutes to do the same job and I could leave it long for Midwest harsh winters. I added a picture of the combs as these were a great pairing. I am unsure if I had gotten plastic ones if I would’ve been as happy with the results. So for $150 I have clippers and attachments that work very well and save me a tremendous amount of time. How much does it cost to groom your pet? This is priced but you won’t buy 3, as I have done in 2 years, if you just grab these the first time and swallow the slightly higher price tag. Also, I spoke with a friend who works in a vet office and the blade can be sharpened if you don’t want to replace it when it gets dull, which saves about $30 in replacement blade cost. She even used these on her horse. Highly recommend grabbing these trimmers and the metal attachment blades for personal use! Slight negative: As others stated, they do get warm. I found I was done cutting as it got to this point. I would think a pause for the motor to cool would take care of it if you are cutting multiple animals.

Buy from Petco, no Amazon for these clippers
This is NOT the same quality as the almost identical Andis clippers you can buy at Petco. These could not cut through my dog’s (goldendoodle), even after 3 attempts at the same spot. My dog had just been washed and combed, so there were no snarls. The blade just didn’t cut the hair. It felt like I was yanking my dogs hair as I tried to cut it. So, I tried going to Petco and buying the almost identical version of these clippers. When I tried the clippers from Petco, they worked perfectly. They cut through my dog’s hair on the first attempt and with significant ease. I have already returned these Amazon clippers. They were terrible.

The perfect dog trimmer
I've used a portable trimmer on my dogs but over time it just would not get through their coat. The Andis trimmer is the best trimmer I've ever used. I am not a professional but this made my life easier. When you use it go slow and steady. Be careful as it has some serious power, if you don't pay attention and control the blade it could trim off more hair than intended. It plugs into the wall so have an long extension cord handy. Two speeds let you cut through the most stubborn matting, remember steady and slow. It doesn't include trim guard so be sure to use a pinky finger under the blade to control depth. If you have a dog - get one.

The Andis AGC 24675 clipper is great.
The Andis AGC 24675 clipper is great. Expensive, but it works. I used it to clip a Cocker Spaniel's ears, face and paws. Cuts right through the masses of hair. The dog fell asleep while I was trimming, amazing.

Very high-quality clippers.
These clippers are very high-quality and they work extremely well. They are a little bit heavy, but I believe they will last long long time.
