Light, durable, easy to use, cheap
Very durable, lightweight, cheap, exceptional grip on tripod, low to no likelohood of it falling out,v ery secure but also very easy to slide in. One of the few amazon products I have bought that waas goos in a long time
User
High quality and easy to install
Easy to mount, seems sturdy/stable and like it will hold up well to use. It’s heavy as it’s made of metal. Moves smoothly. Easy to adjust and lock in place. Not too big.

I love this!!
I am a wildlife photographer and my lens and camera are not light. I've been shooting handheld for the last couple years. My elbow has been killing me to the point where it was affecting me when I shoot. After a lot of research, I wanted the the monopod with a petal. With my old mono pod I've found it hard to make adjustments. I asked my husband for the monopod for Christmas and I ended up buying the fluid head after trying other brands. This was monopod and fluid head was the best purchase because it has relieved a lot of the pressure and stress on my elbow. Plus, it's made my shots less bouncy and I've been able to keep the bird in frame better than when I shoot handheld. Now it takes a little bit of getting used to, if you're not used to it. And I do not leave my camera unattended. I always wear the shoulder strap, just in case. It can tip over, depending on the ground you're shooting on. I just don't take a chance. Always, hold on to your camera!I can't express how much I love this!

Great
This is perfect for my monopod. No complaints

Durable, easy set up
This iFootage head is extremely durable. I like how it breaks down easily to fit in my camera backpack. It also handles the weight of my Nikon Z50ii and a Tamron 4lb lense on my iFootage monopod, that I use to take photographs of wildlife

Very pleased with the Komodo K5S fluid head
I purchased the IFOOTAGE Komodo K5S for use with my IFOOTAGE Cobra 3.I am very pleased with this unit. It is solid and smooth. The rosette for coupling the panning arm has been improved over the older K5 model, and the knobs made a little larger for ease of use.I feel it partners very well with my IFOOTAGE Cobra 3 monopod and I am glad I bought it. The well made padded carry bag of the Cobra 3 has a clever 'extension' that can be 'pushed out' to accommodate the monopod so it can be stored away with the fluid head attached and ready for use when it is taken out.

I AM VERY PLEASED
This is working well so far. The color scheme is on point with my red and black Panasonic AG-DVX200 professional camcorder, so it looks cool.

Bought new on sales. Product came used.
Bought new, but box came new. Everything (I assumed) is there: 1 fluid head, 1 handle, 1 plate (including 1 screw). Bought the K7 before and it came with extra screw and even a tighten screw piece. This K5S only comes with the bare minimum (as expected because of the price). However, I still don't appreciate it came used.

Very good at this price point. Recommended!
I needed a rather portable video head for occasional and portable use. I did my due diligence and came out with the decision to try IFottage’s K5S. The improved version of the K5. I never owned the K5, so all I can tell you about is the K5S.This is a rather basic video head. No fancy bells or whistles. It feels well made and the pan/tilt features do the job for my rigged our Canon R6MK2.There are tension knobs for both pan and tilt. No counterbalance adjustment though. The plate system is a type of Manfrotto 500 series. I additionally tried alternative plates by SMALLRIG (3158B) and Neewer (501PL), both of which work on this video head. So if you need spares…Testing my R6 MK2 on this head, I find both tilt and pan to be smooth. I recently filmed a children’s soccer game using the K5S and found nothing lacking. I set the tensions for both pan and tilt and they pretty much remained that way for the couple of hours I had it in use. With some light action going back and forth I never found myself thinking about the video head in that it was restricted or limiting my desired movement. Upon review of the video I shot, it was smooth and appeared as good as one would expect. I could easily see this passing basic broadcast requirements as nothing stood out such as jitter, sharp movements or the like. That’s not bad for a video head in this price range.I wish this head did have more features like adjustable counterbalance and an illuminating spirit level however, I’m being grossly greedy as for the price and its intended use, it works just fine. I’m not using this in any professional or high end setting. It’s solely for friends/family home movies and having the portability to stuff it in my backpack without taking up half of the entire space for all my equipment, is what I wanted. And this just does that. In fact the whole set which included the K5S, a Sirui AM-284 tripod which remained attached to the video head and the pan arm (removed for transport) fit nicely into my Vanguard Alta Action 70 Tripod Bag. But I tried fitting the K5S into my Think Tank Firstlight 35 backpack and it went in no problem too. Essentially, once you remove the pan arm for transport, which only takes 20 seconds, the video head takes up little to no extra room compared to a decent Ballhead. This hit the mark, transport is easy here. Not something my Sachtler Ace XL Mk2 can do comparatively. My only real gripe here is I wish the pan handle was telescopic. I do fiddle with the length at times on my video heads and making it shorter is helpful for transport as well. So not bad overall.Definitely recommended.

Built like a tank
Did a lot of research before buying this. Have been testing for a few days and blown away by how good this thing is. It’s built like a tank and is out performing my Miller DS-5 tripod head for pan/tilt performance. It’s compact, silky smooth and absolutely packs a punch. Very happy.
User
smooth footage and well made
This is well made and has a smooth enough pan and tilt for most work, much better than the older model, this does weight more and is a little bigger too, the pan is a little tight for my liking but nothing I can't work with, overall a very good fluid head that will deliver smooth shots.

Inaccurate description
Despite the description this is not arca swiss compatible! Having found an adapter I think it very good. More compact than a gimbal.

Best mini fluid I’ve found
Has enough resistance built in by default for smooth shots with small camera like rigged A7siii with short lens. For long lenses over 150 I still carry big Sachtler tripod with large head. Have to get another one for these little ones for my travel documentary kit.
