I had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the description. Despite trying both sides, it failed to grip and twist my curls, leaving my hair looking uneven—some parts straight, others barely coiled. I was really hoping this would be a durable, longer-lasting alternative to the traditional foam sponge, but it didn’t perform at all. In comparison, the foam version works much better. For the cost, I expected better results and an easier clean-up. Sadly, this was a complete letdown.

If you have short hair that curls easily or it is soft then this will work. But not on short hair that is thick and kinky
