Works perfect. Feels secure
Feels secure and good quality. Not flimsy or cheap design like previous adapters Ived used. Maybe an optional adhesive to keep it from hovering from actual ports would be nice.

Failed after 2 days use
Have Surface Laptop 5 and it plugged in and worked fine for a day or so, then HDMI port failed (yes I changed cable - brand new, etc.). Current HDMI cable works fine on my other laptop. Returning and shopping around for a different hub.

Please note, this dock does not allow Surface 5 Laptop to be charged while it's in use.
I am ammending my original review due to clarification from the seller. This docking station is not designed to allow you to charge your laptop while the dock is connected. There is a port on the Dock, that plugs directly in the charging port and and port which will connect to your charger, but the unit is not designed to allow you to charge your laptop and use it at the same time. Personally, I think this is a poor design.I would recommend you spend a little more if you plan to use a dock that allows for simultaneous charging of the laptop while the dock is in use. I will however say that the seller was quick to respond to my concern and point out the misunderstanding. I am rating this unit low because of the poor design, not because of the seller.

I’m really happy with my Microsoft surface laptop but it just doesn’t have enough inputs. One regular uSB and a mini usb is all you get. This was just what I needed to achieve near perfection by expanding it to two USB ports, a mini USB, one standard and one mini SD card reader. I’m especially happy with the added SD card reader. It’s just plug and play with no drivers needed to install. Just so you know that this isn’t compatible with any other laptops but works perfectly with my Surface laptop. Highly recommend!

Very Convenient!
It is surprisingly small which makes it a great fit for my travel backpack. The construction of the device is good, looks nice with the Microsoft Surface Go Laptop outer shell color and texture. My favorite part is having easy access to a micro SD card reader, the other ports are a huge bonus! To fit properly, I needed to remove the plastic hard shell case off of the laptop.

Could be designed better.
All functions work great. Did not like the fit. Hangs out in rear and does not feel solid. I returned it.
