I would never even attempt to brush my hair wet after shampooing- I have thick, curly hair and never had a reason to even own a brush because I always ran thick conditioner through it and detangeled it with my fingers. In my younger days brushing always pulled out the curls and I’d end up with frizzies so I never relied on keeping one around. Last month my hairdresser recommended a professional grade of leave in conditioner after shampooing and it needed to be put through combed out hair to do it’s magic. Well, let’s just say the first time I had to detangle my shampoo’d hair it was awful…… shampoo opens up the cuticle of the hair so i was left with a matted mess that was almost impossible to “straighten” with my fingers. I was practically pulling out good hair and oh did it hurt. A quick search on Amazon showed this brush to be a great aid detangling wet hair so I ordered one. GAME CHANGER. I don’t know what makes it able to go through matted wet hair easily but it does and quickly too. Problem solved, no pulling, no ouching! For anyone who dreads dealing with wet hair on themselves or battles at bath time, THIS is the answer!!

Very good hairbrush. I use it on my little child and he does not have any pains when his hair is been brushed. It’s a relief as it has been hard to find the one that just works right for his hair. So far so good this has been working and I got a second as a spare.Remember that the texture, type and condition of hair will determine what feels pleasant and not pleasant. Especially for little kids that have everything running through their hair sometimes making needing to wash and/or condition them all the time. You don’t want them hating to have their hair brushed and prevent knots from forming.

I admit it, I am someone who frequently commits the sin of brushing my hair when it’s wet, but I still resisted buying a wet brush. I was convinced it was no different from other less expensive brushes I’ve owned with a similar look. That’s not the case! I honestly don’t know what the difference is but this brush gets the tangles out better than any other brush I’ve owned. It’s superior at detangling whether my hair is wet or dry. Additionally, the bristles are holding up better than most brushes. They haven’t bent, pushed to far into the cushion, or had the protective tips come off. This brush makes short work of brushing my hair and I have very long hair! Great product!

I am more than impressed with this wet brush. I have been using the same old Denman brush for more years than I can count. Since lately I have been pulling massive amounts of hair out of that old brush I decided to do some research. I ran across this Wet brush (I had never heard about before) and decided to order one. WOW! What an amazing difference. I’ve used this brush on both my wet long hair and dry hair. I have not had one single strand of hair in this new brush. I am sold! I highly recommend if you’re seeing lots of hair in your brush.

I have an autoimmune disorder that thins my hair and i was constantly getting knots in it. Anytime i would try to brush out the knots, clumps of hair would come out. It was really upsetting because i was starting develop bald patches from the hair loss. I actually decided to go thru Amazon and look up “brushes for thinning hair” and the wet brush came up. It was only $8 so i figured i’d give it a shot. Holy moly, it glides through my hair like a dream and i was able to detangle a huge knot that i had. It only took a few brushes and it was gone. Definitely a believer in this brush and will be recommending to everyone, regardless of hair type.

I got the original purple wet brush. This is my 2nd one purchased. First one is now used on my cats. This wet brush is amazing. I have fine straight hair and when it is longer I develop hair tangles in hair in back. This wet brush just separates the hair and detailed it. I highly recommend.

This brush is AMAZING it detangles so easily when I was in the hospital after my c section I could move from the bed for the first day and my hair became matted very quickly this brush took it out sooo easy with no pain or pulling !

I have to tie my hair up everyday for work and needed to find a way to reduce hair breakage. I love Wet brushes! My stylist told me about these when I told her about my hair falling out and breaking. These have saved my hair!

I have to leave a review for this. For years, my (long, thick, wavy) hair has been falling out - every time I brush it I had clumps of hair in the brush (recently tangle teezer) and all over the floor I’d have to clean up. I have just used the Wetbrush on my dry hair and am AMAZED. 1 single hair left in the hair brush and 1 on the floor. I looked really hard to see if there were more on the floor bcos this is a game changer. I feel like the whole time my hair hasn’t been coming out of my scalp like I believed, but been breaking from using the wrong brush, which explains the frizzy breakage ends all down the lengths. I’m stepping up my hair game. I’m keeping this. I’ve ordered the shower version of this which hangs and has spaces to keep it clean to use in the shower for conditioner. I’m researching boar hair brush, I’ve got the opaplex rebonding no. 3 product to rebound the breaks and splits and by the end of the month I should have amazing looking hair. Can’t wait. This has given me so much hope !Ps. With the tangle teezer, I would hear ripping sounds. I thought it was just the brush design. No sounds at all brushing my hair now. Feels a whole lot better. 👍 delighted.

I've got really curly hair which gets knotty as I don't brush it until it is being washed, otherwise I'm just left with a head of frizz. Bought this because I normally use a wide tooth comb for getting rid of knots, I'm hair sore and a wimp to boot.This brush took not even one minute and knots were gone. My hair even felt very smooth. I'd recommend this to everyone.

This brush is no different to any other brush. It does not cut through the tangles or knots in my hair. I am continuing to use it just in case it somehow manages to work but I’m still having no luck after trying for several weeks. Don’t bother wasting your money and buying this brush if it’s a detangler that you are looking for. Keep your money or go buy a decent conditioner and comb it through your hair whilst in the shower. This will be a better spend and certainly more productive than this brush

Love this hairbrush. Recommend by a Professional Hairdresser based in New York. I’ve had less hair breakage since using this. It’s great on wet or dry hair. It is also brilliant for brushing through hair products into your hair without pulling my fragile hair out. Have bought another one for my daughter since my first purchase and will be buying another 2 in next couple of days. Highly recommended.

My daughter has beautiful curly hair.... it was always a nightmare brushing it!Until now... I swear, her loose ringlets like to have a rave whilst she's sleeping!! This brush (along with johnsons spray conditioner after washing) has been a life saver! She loves it. Plus, it makes a really satisfying brush noise as it works through the knots too. You can also get princess ones!! 100% worth every penny! My 10 year old has one now too.
