Got it as a gift for a friend. She loved it. I particularly liked the fact that the States & provinces in N America can be scratched off separately. And the countries flags are shown.

Having seen a friend who had a similar one I thought it was a fun idea to record places I'd been. It's fine, although not as good as I had expected. Some of the country boundaries in the gold scrape off layer don't match with underlying map. There are a number of smaller countries, identified by only number and there is no key to the numbers. Many of the smaller Caribbean islands aren't covered and if you uncover them there is nothing there. There are some very strange flags for places that are not official countries (at best they are regions in a country) so there is obviously certain political view of the world being exercised. However, I suspect it'll still make an interesting talking point with visitors.

I found this scratch map to be even better than expected!After reading some negative reviews i was slightly hesitant, however I am extremely pleased with it and i would buy all over again.It is easy to scratch off and even comes with a small magnifying class and scratching tool to make it nice and easy.The map also has fun little things like whales and dolphins in the sea... and even an iceberg where the titanic sank!10/10 definately worth the buy you wont be disappointed, its gone straight on my wall!

waste of money ,very poor quality, impossible to do the clean scratch ..

I did not like the product, there is no glass, I have ordered a gift card that comes with glue and bad print, it has no use whatsoever.

Great product - great service. This if for a birthday present which I know will be very well received.
