Great knife
One of my favourite knives so far, really good size and I get a good grip on it and it feels secure. It is very sharp and easy to sharpen as well. Doesn't rust and has a wide blade for picking up chopped ingredients

Outstanding performance.
got this chef knife for my mate as he is a a professional chef, I had been thinking to find the perfect gift for him then finally got this and he loved it.He's been using it for a while and he can't stop praising it. He says that it cuts through meat so smoothly and easily which is the most important thing for a chef. It’s sharp and holds its edge well, which saves him time on constant sharpening. The G10 handle gives him a firm grip, reducing the risk of slips and providing control, which is crucial in a busy kitchen. It came in a gift like box which is a bonus for me to give it as a gift to my mate. His eyes lit up as he opened the box. The pattern on the knife looks so beautiful and gives it a decorative look. It’s made a significant difference in his kitchen, and he tells me it’s his go-to knife for all his prep work.I would like to recommend this chef knife who is looking for well-made and sharp with decorative looking luxurious chef knife.

Impressive knife, great quality.
This is a great quality knife. So the first thing I noticed upon opening the box(see pic 5), was the obvious quality, and then when I took it from the box it became even more apparent(see pic 6).The first thing that was obvious to me was the “weight”, which gave me a real feeling of “utility”, by which I mean this is a very capable knife, made from good quality metals.I love the fact that the “Butt” of the knife, marries to the “Tang”(full tang) of the knife, because it means that this knife will be a long lasting heavy weight.More impressive to me thou, is the fact that the “Butt”, “Spine”, “Bolster” and “Rivets” are all perfectly flush, not one of them is out of alignment by even 0.5mm, they are very well done. The handle is a very tactile unit, made from a nice “G10” material, that gives me a good amount of grip, and also looks really nice. Now the blade is something I find very impressive, this knife is “Razor sharp” out of the box, and the “Damascus steel” apart from looking fantastic, gives a great blade. The blade has a very nice pattern sequence of design, from the folded Damascus steel, which apart from being aesthetically pleasing, is a sign of a very high quality steel. The “Heel” of the blade has a very slight slope, but a perfect fit when I edge my finger up to the blade, for heavier cutting, following from that the “Edge” of the knife, is a very crisp and sharp blade, with a very clean grind, providing a long lasting edge that I believe will stay sharp for some time to come. All round I find this knife to be a very ergonomic, aesthetically pleasing, capable knife, and I very much like it.I couldn’t give this anythign less than 5 stars, I genuinely believe it is that good.

MADE IN CHINA
The description is misleading. The knives are inferior quality. The knives are described as Japanese - the label on the box states 'Made in China". If the seller had made this clear in the description, I would not have purchased.

Absolutely Amazing
A really impressive chef's knife. From the box it is so much sharper when compared to my other knives, the first thing I tried cutting I barely applied pressure at all to cut it and it slid through with ease. The craftsmanship of the knife is really superb, obviously, this reflects the price and is a very premium price for a knife, but the quality is definitely there.

Disappointed
I was surprised and disappointed that this Japanese steel knife was actually made in China

Good quality knife
Sunnecko Santoku Knife 7 inch, Japanese Kitchen Knife with VG10 Damascus Steel Blade Knife, Sharp Knife with Ergonomic G10 Handle Professional Chef Knife with Gift Box Meat Cooking Knife - £67.99 at time of review.Really good quality knife, cuts really well and easy to clean. The Damascus pattern is just lovely and the blade is thin, yet very sharp. I personally like the heavy feel to this knife. It comes in a nice box so you can give it as a gift if you wish. Expensive for one knife, but the quality definitely makes it worth it. I will likely be buying others in the range!

Lightweight and Sharp
I had this knife in the "carving knife" knife. This arrived in a narrow box, nicely padded and secured and the tip, which when removed, is very sharp. The cover isn't really reusable - something a bit more sturdy and long-lasting would have been more useful, but it does come with a polishing cloth. This knife is full length and the point is very sharp, easily slicing through my tofu and other protein based meats. The handle looks lovely and is easy to hold. The blade itself has a lovely patina, that looks unusual to other knives. It does cut better on the point/tip compared to the full blade.
