We were looking for an indoor sauna and cameAcross this one. Hadn’t been thinking about portable but this one is really slick. The setup was easy and fast even though the directions are a bit “basic”. Heats up quick and for two of its its pretty comfortable. Seems well insulated and am pretty much sold on it. I gave it five stars because it’s worked well so far!

Simple assembly and the product just works. Did a little research before deciding to purchase this unit over steam and I’m pleased with my decision.What was meant as a gift for the wife is now a family item

Why spend so much money for expensive sauna and spa memberships when you can only one of these gems. Set up was very easy. I got stuck a little bit uninstalling lighting system, that was because I didn’t fully read that the longer Velcro was on the back. Heats up pretty quick. Takes about 10 to 15 minutes in the Florida fall. Chairs are comfortable. It’s the right size for someone that’s 5 foot nine. And his wife is also 5 foot nine. Both of us can sit in here comfortably. I bought as in addition a portable USB fan. I hung it from one of the Support wires and put it on slow and it also helps boost the speed and the heat of the spa. Additionally, I will try it later, as I bought some of those NASA thermal blankets. Because heat rises from the top I’m gonna put it on top to see if it will retain the heat a little bit better. All in all I’m very pleased with the purchase and would definitely do it again.

Ok for the price. Cramped seating for two. Directions for set up are off. Able to make it work. Thermostat is not good quality.

I love this sauna. I really wanted the wooded, more permanent sauna, but since I will probably sell this house in a couple years, I didn’t want the hassle of removing it or losing out on the purchase.This beats up in about 20 minutes, maybe less, I haven’t really sat and watched it.The hottest it’s gotten is 134 degrees, and that works fine for me. I’ve used it about 10 times over the course of a 2 months.Definitely get the 2 person If you want room to stretch out a bit. I’m 5’6, and i can it stand up, but sometimes I remove the chair and sit on the floor to do some floor stretches.Super easy to assemble and very lightweight to move around once assembled.But this if you aren’t ready to commit to a permanent; it does the trick.

First 3 uses were great. It never reached the 140 degrees as advertised and took 30 minutes to reach 125 degrees. But was still hot enough to work up a good sweat. I am used to using a sauna at 150 degrees. Used sauna 5 times total. On 4th and 5th use, it shut down after 20 minutes, like a breaker was flipped off. 5th time noticed an electrical burning smell from electrical box. Obviously, the safety mechanism tripped the switch, as it is supposed to.Contacted the Smartmak company directly to troubleshoot and they returned my message quickly over the holiday weekend but referred me back to Amazon. SmartMak did not offer any kind of support what so ever. Not a fan of SmartMak's customer service.However, the Amazon Customer Service was awesome. Took a 10 minute chat with Amazon and they are sending a replacement in 2-3 days. Hopefully, the first one was just a glitch. I am looking forward to trying this one more time. Stay tuned.It was super simple to assemble in 20 minutes tops. The chairs are not very comfy but neither are the wooden benches in the wooden saunas. I an researching a more comfy chair. It is large enough for two medium sized people, not much leg room. I am happy to have purchased the 2 person size. Gives one person a comfy amount of space. I am not very tall 5'2".Update: received replacement Sauna within a week or two. Very timely. So far have used a dozen or more times with no problems. Heats up to 120 over 10 min window. Max temp reached is 129 with 30 minutes. Never higher than 129F. Hot enough for a good sweat. Overhead light is red not a reading lamp as advertised. But not a deal breaker. I love it and use it four times a week.

This is a zipper tent sauna, kinda seems cheap and like it will be disappointing but it’s been a few weeks and I’ve used it more or less daily and it’s great! I do have to stay in longer than in a normal sauna but it’s also very cold here and I have this in my unfinished basement. I will use it until it dies and then I may upgrade to a wooden one but this definitely serves its purpose well for now!!! I had the sauna like this but where your head sticks out and this one is 500x more comfortable… get this kind :)

I've moved up twice easily. I think it works as well as a full wooden sauna , without the weight.. it goes up to 135 easily. (10-15)It's only gone to the max of140 f . Twice only. Even tho I set it for 30 minutes. Still a 135 to 138 degree is close enough to benifet. I use it daily. I love it. The best part I didn't spend over 1000 dollar for the same benifet. I've owned for just 3 weeks.. So if it lasts over 18 months I'd still be happy with it.
