Black Science Compendium Paperback – 11 April 2023

I find myself struggling to make it though, I have been gradually reading my way through but I'm still only 50% of the way and don't know if I'll ever pick it back up. Maybe just not my kind of thing. Struggling to sympathize with characters, character development is lacking and even the predictable twists are far too predictable.

I loved this story, and thoroughly enjoyed the ending. Parallel universes are just like... far out man.

There is something quite strange about "Black Science". At first, as me, you will probably love the story and the Art (we are talking about "Art", here: each panel is crafted with passion and craftmanship), yet despise most of its characters. It is a tale of people damned by their own ambitions, sins, or even just passions, spiralling across dimentions in search of a way home, and perhaps even redention. You will be fascinated by the pain of Grant McCay and sooner or later even emphatize with some of the villains passing by, one after another, in search of control over their life, Reality and the Multiverse.The idea of collecting the whole story into a single package is good, yet the book is quite heavy, so be advised it is not something you will be reading at the seaside, nor in bed; best for a chair of on a table. That said, you just cannot beat the price for this edition.

Great art and story. Book has arrived in good condition.

Heel knappe compendium. Veel strip voor je geld. Nog niet gelezen maar het tekenwerk is goed, dus al een goede start.
