Is the straw flexible or hard?

The straw is hard. No flexibility at all.

Can this be used with carbonated drinks (sparkling water) or smoothies?

It can be used for smoothies. I would take the cup and straw apart afterwards to clean. I have not tried sparkling water in them but these are mae for young kids and they tend to not be careful with them and I would imagine the carbonation after being tossed around or shaken would make it leak from the straw at the least.

My daughter chews her straws, is this straw hard? or is it soft & bendy?

The straws are plastic. My son chews through them fairly easily and they don’t offer replacement straws unfortunately.

Are these cups easy to clean?? I have been having issues with other toddler cups finding mold in hard to clean spaces even after dishwasher cleaning
