The product is easy to install - it blocks cold air, bugs, apartment hallway noise and smoke from smokers (the neighbor across the hall). We had a problem with flies from the outside getting into the hallway and crawling under the door - problem solved. The apartment is much warmer now. As to noise suppression, the sounds from the hallway outside are less obtrusive but sounds also penetrate walls and doors - so, less is better.It comes with two Styrofoam inserts and a double sleeve for them. Simply follow the instructions - lay the inserts against the base of the door and mark just beyond one edge - scissors cut it easily. Insert the Styrofoam into the sleeves and slip the draft dodger under the door - open the door completely to raise the stretch strap around the hinge edge - do the same for the latch end. It also comes with very clear instructions.Something that the instructions do not cover is that the outside Styrofoam insert needs to be cut a bit shorter in order for it to slip past the door stop strip otherwise it will jam up and make it hard to completely close the door.Suggestion - so far the stretch strap on each end has not slipped down - if it does, simply use an old fashioned (flat head) thumbtack to secure it to the door. One of the evaluation categories was for "adhesion" - not sure how that applies to a stretch strap so I rated that category 5-star because the strap has stayed in place (it does not have "adhesion").I am using this on a hardwood floor - not sure how it will work for carpet (friction). It is very simple to remove and wash after taking out the Styrofoam inserts.UNUSUAL SELLER - Shortly after I ordered this double draft dodger and before I installed it, I received an email from the seller (through Amazon contact security) which included installation instructions and a promise that if for some reason, the draft dodger does not work with my particular door (too wide - too thick - too large of a gap under the door, etc.), send them measurements and they will make a custom one. Wow - I have never seen such an offer from a seller before. In my case, the delivered draft dodger fit perfectly and has performed perfectly.

These are the best draft stoppers I have gotten by far! The elastic keeps it on the door and in place! Has made such a difference in my older drafty house. Cut the foam to fit the door size and then having the elastic on both ends to keep it in place is the best feature! Great value for the money, keeps draft down and sounds are muffled the fabric is soft so it doesn’t scratch the hardwoods! Highly recommend this product!

This is a cheap product that doesn't work very well at all. It constantly slides off the door, getting stuck. I wish I could return it and get my money back. Do not purchase.

Easy to install and works as described.

This door draft stopper has added benefit of bug stopper! It seals along the bottom of the door, blocking out cold drafts and preventing bugs from sneaking in. The material is durable yet flexible, making it easy to install and adjust. Noticed a difference in keeping the room warmer. It’s discreet and blends well with the door, so it doesn’t stand out. No more unwanted pests or chilly drafts! Overall, it’s an affordable and effective solution for apartment or home. Highly recommend!

It’s not fancy but this did exactly what we needed it to do. Block light from coming in under the door in our baby’s nursery. Added bonus that it also blocks some noise (definitely not all). It’s completely quiet on our hard would floors and the color matches the nursery. If I’m being super nitpicky, the fabric didn’t get perfectly smooth, but it’s barely noticeable and significantly better than stuffing a blanket under the door like we were doing before. For those of you who don’t have a time for DIY…just get it

My previous review had the title "Shiny and ugly fabric", and it was: "The brown fabric is very shiny. It is ugly and I will return the item. Besides, the foam is thinner than the other draft blocker I have (from another seller)."After that, the seller was kind enough to offer me a replacement with a new fabric. The new fabric is not shiny and, therefore, matches better with the floor. I rate the seller's customer service 5 stars! The product itself is still not the prettiest fabric, but we get what we pay for. I have bought nicer fabrics from other sellers. Anyway, I thank the seller for their customer relations which was great.

The foam that came with this product was too small and thus, when I shut the door, the foam just went under the door. Useless. Also the elastic that is meant to hold it on the end of each door is too loose and is also useless if the foam is too small in diameter. I measured my gap correctly and got the normal use but obviously the 2 inch foam larger insert is probably the best bet for most doors. I suggest you select the 2 inch although the colors are limited in the 2 inch size foam.I solved this problem by purchasing a pool noodle which are 2 inches in diameter. I thought of returning but had a noodle on hand.

Se adapta perfectamente a mi puerta blindada de 55 mm de ancho. Incluso la he cortado a distinta medida por delante que por detras y el resultado es perfecto. No pasa ni una brizna de aire.

Appena arrivata la scatola mi sono spaventata perché mi sembrava materiale povero e di breve durata, invece è effettivamente elastico e si riesce ad adeguare alla porta e nel mio caso ha tenuto bene con una resa giusta.
