It's the simple things in life that make us so happy! I was looking for a dutch oven to cook sourdough bread and I found this! That's a fantastic price first of all...I love the color! I love how light this pot is And how easy! Super easy. It is to clean! It does not scratch easily!I've made sourdough bread in it but I have to put something underneath the pot so the bottom doesn't burn ... It's got a nice thick bottom anyway, but because sourdough takes such a high temperature I put it on top of a baking sheet anyway . We make rice in it because it holds the steam in very well... I've made some awesome soup and if you put it on low you can actually use it for an all-day cook on low heat if you wanted to. You need this pot! No really you need this. As a dutch oven it's really easy to get out of the oven cuz it's so nice and light and it could take temperatures up to 500° which is a big. But make sure you use a pot holder when you're taking the lid off because it does get hot 🔥. And it looks very pretty on my shelf when not in use. It's the perfect size for a small family or for just the two of us. We've made flan in it too successfully

I bought this to do sour dough bread-but am finding it useful for lots of cooking-great size

This is so lightweight and cooked my sourdough loaf better than the regular Dutch oven! Was so much easier getting out of the oven with my carpal tunnel. The handles are hot but so is my other Dutch oven. The green is stunning and I get many compliments on it. I’ve only used it for baking bread.

I totally love this pot for its light weight, easy to clean nonstick surface, beautiful color (I got the red one!), and versatility.There are two things I do not appreciate however, which are worth noting. One, as others have noted, the handles on the sides and the knob on the lid get VERY HOT and I have to remind myself not to touch them. I solved the lid problem by using a glass lid I have lying around with a cooler knob (plus I like seeing what's cooking inside).Two, is that the side handles are not just very small and thin, but also very slick - there are no ridges, edges or any kind of shape etc. to help keep your hand from slipping, and given that they are VERY HOT, you need to use a glove or potholder. I found it awkward and was afraid of losing my grip as I moved the full pot to the sink to drain into a colander.So with those two quibbles out of the way, for which I am deducting one star, I would still definitely recommend this pot and will probably buy again soon in a larger size!

I wanted to make sourdough bread. I heard you needed a Dutch oven. This one looks cute and was priced well. Kind of mixed reviews…a lot of good reviews but then a lot of “the handle melted” so I was a little worried but, she made my bread in 500° heat and no melting! Nice and light weight. I’m pleased.

Time conversion due to the heat resistance . Love how my recipes come out. Also very easy to wash. Non stick

I recently tried the granite Stone a lightweight 5 quart Dutch oven, and while it has its merits, I didn't quite live up to my expectations. On the plus side, the lightweight design makes it easy to handle and maneuver, which is a definite advantage if you're looking for something less cumbersome. However, I found that the cooking performance was somewhat inconsistent. Well it heats up quickly, it doesn't seem to distribute he as evenly as I would have hoped, which sometimes leads to uneven cooking. The non-stick coating is convenient, but not my favorite. Cleaning is straightforward thanks to the non-stick surface, but I'm not sure how long it'll last. Overall it's a decent option if you're looking for something affordable and lightweight, but it might not be the best choice if you're seeking top notch performance and durability.

This pot is amazing. I love how it is so light weight and it cooks my sourdough bread perfectly. Considering I am a beginner.

I got this because I need a ditch oven for homemade sourdough bread but wanted one that didn’t weigh a hundred pounds. This works great for bread and we made a beautiful frittata today and took it to a family brunch. Beautiful enough to serve in as well and is nice and light. The quality is very good despite it being lightweight. I would love a shallower pan in the same brand. I opted for the emerald green and love the colour.

Tengo apenas 2 semanas con ella pero la uso a diario casi, la compré para sustituir una de acero inoxidable y la verdad es que fue una buena compra, pensé que sería más pesada pero es bastante ligera comparada a otras de similares características, tiene como un recubrimiento de teflón que no me esperaba pero funciona muy bien, mantiene muy bien el calor. Sin duda la recomiendo

It’s light weight. (Aluminum) Not supposed to use the heavier Dutch ovens (cast iron) on my new smooth top oven. Nicely browned onions with a bit of oil. Easy to clean.Love the colour.Yes as others have said the handles and lid gets hot so need oven mitts needed but not a big deal. Features I like made up for it. Also got it on sale.

This dutch oven is not nearly as heavy to lift as cast iron ones are. It is sturdy, though. It's easy to clean because of the no stick feature. With proper care I think it will last for years. You can cook a lot of different food in it...roasts, chilli, bread, cakes, just to name a few. I ordered the Emerald colour and I do like it. I'm very impressed with this dutch oven.
