### ⭐

Must have had a glitch in this particular product

*by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2017*

I used it to fry fish: it never registered over 300 degrees. Put fish in and it burned in a matter of seconds. I used a meat thermometer to see what was going on. It registered over 475. I threw out the thermometer along with the fish.

Its colored face is great. You can easily keep an eye closely on your temperature.

I like that I can adjust it to fit on all the cooking pans I have. It's well worth the extra money. I bought two of them.

Works great for my little deep fryer. Nice to know when desired temp is reached between batches.
