About Tom Shot Berlin:Tom Shot Berlin is an exclusive Berlin based label by founder Thomas Schwender. The Tom Shot story began in the late 1990s. In order to finance his training to become an opera singer, Thomas Schwender founded the label Tosh Accessoires. He was so successful with his jewellery creations that, after a short while, he decided to concentrate entirely on his work as a designer. In 2001 he moved with his brand from Frankfurt to Berlin. There he opened a shop in Prenzlauer Berg with an adjacent workshop. To this day, every piece of jewellery is lovingly crafted by hand. Tosh became Tom Shot in 2009. The change of name was followed by a reorientation towards more commercial and delicate pieces of jewellery. Tom Shot creates a different jewellery collection twice a year. His bracelets and chains are especially well-known with delicate pendants in polished gold plating, rose gold plating and silver plating, which sometimes include simple symbols such as rings, coins and hearts and sometimes feature cute motifs from the animal world such as bees, hares and seagulls. Tom Shot jewellery is handmade from brass in Berlin and platinum plated in Paris. The items are often also rhodium plated to prevent tarnishing for as long as possible. -
