It was hard to find this size but I'm glad I stayed with my search. I used these rods for the side windows flanking my front door along with sheer panels. And since they don't get any use I find they stay in place nicely. I do not have pets or children to test them but they seem to fit nice and snug.

I bought these to support to shelves of the freezer section of the refrigerator. They were installed as soon as they arrived and they work perfectly. Very sturdy.

Not much "spring" in the rod, but easy to turn to tighten. Using to keep notebooks and magazines upright, so need two rods per shelf.

This is for a temporary fix for Transom windows. Need to install a curtain in the windows. Although the rod is thin and not very sturdy, it will work temporarily. Thanks

These are ok, but definitely could be better. They do not hold very securely, the plastic on ends isn't very grippy and the interior threads slip once you get to a certain tightness. But they're good enough for what I need. One of the ones I received holds much less tight than the others but I only need 4 so I don't need it.

I ordered these rods because I have two small windows that I wanted to put curtains on. They are nice and sturdy and easy to use. The windows look great!

I bought these to help stabilize the base of laptop platform (a makeshift "standing desk"). But after a few weeks, they didn't hold their tension. And one-by-one, they began to fail and fall down. Now they can't be readjusted at all.. they seem to have retracted into a shortened length and they're no longer adjustable at all. So they're not spring-loaded.

Product was as described. I used in a spice drawer.
