Dorfromantik - The Boardgame

This game has some complexity to it, but do not let it dissuade you from playing it. It eases you into its complexities very gently and is really enjoyable. My wife and I will throw on some lofi and play a few rounds to destress and talk. Love this game!

I picked this up after playing a first game in a boardgame Cafe. I loved the campaign idea in a game that is replayable; unlike the various legacy games which are basically only one playthrough. The game starts off fairly simple, and plays quickly, maybe 30 minutes. This was perfect for playing during a lunch break. It took us (2 players) 16 games to unlock everything, and our games at the end took up almost the entire hour, which ended up working great. I recommend this game for solo play, or two players; i think more than that might make decision making difficult if there are any min/max or power gaming personality types involved.

Fun game that changes every time

Work together to build out a land to specific requirements. As you progress, you get to unlock more stuff (will not discuss unlocks because of spoilers). Always love campaign/legacy aspects to games. Super easy to learn and pickup. Plays very quick as each turn is a pick a tile, play a tile.If you like co-ops and enjoy games like Carcassonne, Kingdomino, and Karuba, then definitely buy this one for your collection!It is also the winner of the 2023 Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) award!

We love the cooperative nature, and the fact that it's a campaign with achievements to unlock

My wife loves the Dorf Romantik video game, so I got this for her to play when the power goes out once the world ends ( or if she feels like getting away from a screen)10/10 - can't wait for the apocalypse.

Anyone that's into board games, this might be the best one we've played. I got the steam game a year or two ago, then they released a board game. You unlock cards as you play which makes playing it over and super rewarding. It's super fun to play co-op or solo. 11/10 - would recommend with a loved one.

Great tile placement game! It has such a cozy feeling to it. and lovely art!Learn it easily and evolve it into a nice and strategic brain game to get the highest scores. It has Unlockable components to give the game more complexity as you go and enjoy a more challenging experience each time.

Un juego sencillo que sirve muy bien para pasar un rato en pareja ya que no es muy complejo y es colaborativo, con una campaña que te permite ir poco a poco explorando nuevas mecánicas y fichas; si te gusta construir mapas con losetas hexagonales sin complicarte mucho es un juego recomendable

The product page said Import Fees Deposit included.I still had to pay 32 CAD in import fees.Also said if I pay with TD points it will give me a 30% discount. I don't see an evidence of that discount.This second issue is probably with Amazon and not the seller, but I couldn't find out how to contact an actual person for the last 20 mins and they keep sending me to the seller.

I decided to give this game a try,because i was obsessed with computer version and it was quite a logical thing to do.Quality of the game is great. All this tiles, hearts, cards are nicely made. Rules could be a little bit tricky, but once you understand them it’s a game to spend your evening with. I played with my partner - had fun. Played alone - was outsmarted by the game, but still had an amazing time; and played more.Such an amazing game for a single player, couples and family nights (game is about cooperation and thinking ahead).Can recommend.

Beautiful and enjoyable game with easily understandable rules; even my 4-year-old son quickly grasped them and played along with us. He especially likes the moment of adding and revealing new cards.A disappointing moment was the absence of the Warehouse tile in the 3rd box of the game. It became clear much later because the gameplay on the map did not involve it for quite some time. However, this necessitated a thorough examination of all the boxes to check; perhaps it was our mistake, but all tiles up to that point were closely monitored, including by my son.
