Good acting, some comic parts - serious subject. A good but not a great film in my opinion.

Lily Tomlin was as fantastic as ever. Sensitive topics were approached and discussed with compassion. Would highly recommend this to anyone in need of a feel good movie.

Great film. I love the strong female lead in the Grandma, both hilarious, strong and occasionally vulnerable. The narrative was just enough to maintain focus through out the film but without relying too much on drama we were able to focus on the characters themselves.

I've seen this film a couple of times now and would say that it is excellent. I guess it would be classed as a gay film but it isn't really its a film about people, families, relationships-about how messy life can be and can get due to the accumulated baggage of poor choices and coping strategies. My partner finds it far more amusing than I do, I spent to much time aghast at the main character to laugh much! A good film, perceptive, amusing, poignant.

Loved this film, it is gutsy, does not have schmatzy happy endings and it's funny. I'm just sorry regional cinema chains didn't pick it up and I had to wait so long to see it.

I enjoyed this film. Young and old and their adventures on life's highway. Lily Tomlin is a different kind of '.Grandma'. She is looking after her granddaughter, and doing a good job of it.

Very good movie. With something meaningful to say about family ties and a woman's right to choose. Especially liked the performances of the two actors who played the parents of Tomlin's girlfriend? The script and miss en scene are typical of a good independent film from the 70s. Glad stuff like this is still being made, maybe because old stars like Lily Tomlinson are still out there punching.
