SONGMICS Shoe Rack, 6-Tier with Doors, 24-Pair Storage Cabinet

Exactly what I was looking for and at a great price! The materials all seem to be solid quality, and setup was easy with no additional materials or tools needed. It came with everything that you need to get it put together easily and quickly. Total time probably took me 30 to 45 minutes, but probably could have been done faster if I tried. I’m a size 11.5 Men’s and I was able to fit most shoes straight in with room for two pairs per level, but opted to go singular as well, and put them horizontally which shows off the shoe quite nicely (whether good or bad based on cleanliness lol).

We purchased and built this over the weekend for garage show storage. We don’t wear our shoes much in the house. Our previous shoe rack was spilling all over the garage floor it only have two rows and was a bench. This looks perfect ! We built it our own way to make it fit and only had 2 panels left over after. Im hoping it hold up. It looks sleek and functional. I like the door flaps to limit the amount of dust that gets in with the shoes since I put sandals and high heels in there as well. We are still loading it up. We did not hook it to the wall but will our own way as we have brick and the kit it came with two strings and screws won’t work with our brick . It was a little time consuming to put together but mostly easy. Just takes a little strength to push the end circles on. Make sure to look at the labels and the photos since there are 3 different types of panels. The short squares are the dividing walls and the rectangles are the floor and back wall pieces. I would definitely buy it again.

Very sturdy! It was Quite easy to put together took about 20 minutes. Much bigger than I expected. Overall I was very satisfied with purchase. My only comment is I wish there were enough connectors to allow for 2 separate standing shelves.

Overall, this is a good product for a reasonable price. Once assembled, it looks neat and attractive, and provides plenty of useful storage. The real test over time will be how sturdy it remains, particularly whether it starts to tilt with regular use, but so far I’m pleased with the purchase. Assembly itself is fairly simple and straightforward, but my biggest frustration was the instruction booklet. It really isn’t much help. I’ve noticed this with quite a few products sold on Amazon that are manufactured and shipped internationally. I completely understand that, but clearer, better-written and more detailed assembly instructions would make a significant difference. A step-by-step video assembly guide would also be extremely helpful, particularly for people who aren’t accustomed to putting furniture together. One other small improvement I’d suggest is adding wheels/casters, preferably lockable ones. Given the size of the rack, wheels would make it much easier to move around once assembled and filled with shoes. Overall, though, I would recommend it, especially at this price point. It looks good, does what it’s supposed to do, and wasn’t difficult to assemble once I figured everything out. One star deducted primarily for the poor assembly instructions. With clearer directions, a video guide, and perhaps wheels, this would easily be a 5-star product.

Assembly is not complicated but it did take long to make sure the panels were fully pushed in into each plastic knob. You have to hit it with the hammer that comes with the product, don’t use your hands (you will hurt yourself). Love the versatility since you can assemble it into any shape you want and also remove inner panels for bigger shoes. Product is sturdy but again make sure you are pushing in the panels all the way into the knobs. It looks clean in my garage because the sides are not transparent and the shoes are sort of hidden in side view. One con is height wise, I had to put this product on top of another small shoe rack. I didn’t want to bend down to the ground to get to the lowest level of the shoe rack. I love the lids and they are the reason why I purchased this product. Leaving my shoes in the garage left them dusty and I’m excited to have dust free shoes now! Overall cheaper option to shoe drawers that are over $100 and seriously great value.

I had an overfilled, unstable wooden shoe rack nearly my door for about the past year and then had to pile more shoes in a cardboard carton on top, as well as leave extra shoes on the floor. The whole thing shoe situation looked unsightly. After being nagged by a household member repeatedly about how bad this all looked and all the shoe clutter, I finally did some research on a proper solution to this "shoe problem." The issue is that there are plenty of decent shoe racks out there, but many of them don't have doors on the front or offer ways to hide the shoes, and the ones that do are often $100 or more, OR they're on the heavier side and more permanent pieces of furniture, like made completely of wood. If you're a renter who isn't entirely sure if you intend to move in the next few years and doesn't want to spend $100 or more on something you have to share with a roommate or multiple roommates, you're basically stuck buying a cheap and open metal or wood shoe rack, unless you choose something like this. Some people really don't want to see a bunch of shoes or feel it ruins the aesthetic of their home, so paying less often means being stuck looking at some ugly or plain shoe rack. This product is not perfect but it meets the needs of people who are frugal and don't want to look at a bunch of shoes. The vinyl panels are a little flimsy. The plastic joints stick out the top and the whole rack doesn't look expensive at all. HOWEVER, if you're just looking for a way to inexpensively organize and hide your shoes, this is the perfect product. The 6 cubes shoe organizer holds enough shoes for a household of two adults with some additional space to spare, and if you put an opaque peel and stick liner or wallpaper on the front of each panel, you can HIDE YOUR SHOES without having to buy a heavy or expensive or permanent piece of furniture and the shoe rack will instantly look like a real piece of furniture from a distance. One of the front panels did arrive with a small dent, but given the low price and practicality of the item, it didn't bother me, plus I intended to cover the panels with a peel and stick covering anyway. I highly recommend this item as a temporary solution for those who are trying to save money but need to organize and hide their shoes.
